a Dr or Lawyer degrade a collegue? I loved the video. My favorite was the Teen in

white. He looked like a incarnate of Dr. Powell. You see kids too lazy to get off sofa these days.

One of the reasons Kata was developed was so that one could train and work on strikes, blocks and movements without having a partner. Also it's a good way to grow spiritually in your Martial Arts. There is so much more but I'll allow you to discover that for yourself as you continue with your training.

It's not in harmony with Prof Vee or Dr. Powell, they had a great love and respect for one another. Other jitsu system and aikido system watch and copy Vee jitsu and Sanuces and never give Prof Vee and Dr. Powell credit We should stop this and show the world the greatness of Prof. Vee and all of his students who love and honor his system of systems we are one

afrikantaoist, i don't know you, if you are of Veejitsu you must not have been around for the last 15 -20 years I have been on the matt with brother many times along side some of the top Veejitsu master in NY, just three times this year I have seen brother teach along side of some of the Veejitsu teachers from Kiosh Lou, Prof Bill, SOKE, Prof Shabazz and even GM Lumumba. When he has an seminar all of them come to Philly and Delaware and support him. He may not say it but he is VSK.

BKTFA ok so why would he say "Tournaments and competition are for kids & under belts not men" this would imply that Moses, Lumumba and Lil John were underbelts. come on brother Bottom line is that Sanuces is sanuces and VeeJitsu is VeeJitsu both great arts and Sanuces was created by a Veejitsuka but has its own plot in which it stands. No disrespect to the system its just it is what it is. Similarities are one thing, curriculum is another.

afrikantaoist, your partially correct in our history, yes SOKE John and GM Lumumba were tournament fighters,however Dr. Powell did not like that type of fighting, he allow them to do it because that's what they loved to do. we fight in Sanuces but not for sport. I know Bro James and he use to fight in tournaments in the 70's and early 80's he respects those who still continue to fight today. Also i read his post he never said the te's are in Sanuces. if you visit NY we all have the te's VSK !

He is pure sanuces not VSK he doesnt teach Veejitsu he teaches sanuces and 1-24 and veejitsu te's are not his to teach. He said they are his to teach. We do not teach the PIA's and my teachers also did sanuces. I have love for sanuces and all martial arts i also believe in fighting on every level whether there are or arent any rules. Veejitsu doesnt only base its self on the premise of self defense. It is also an offensive style. Sanuces was created and represented by fighters on all levels.

If you do your homework you will find that Sanuces Ryu has a direct connection to Vee Jitsu and Grand Professor Vee who is Dr. Moses Powell's teacher and He is also the teacher of Kenn Brown (Kadeem) and Rober Evans, which makes us somewhat family members.
