Thanks for the replies...it's been a long ~2.5 years! But we've raised thousands of dollars and seen lots of "improvements" with the kids. They are doing as good as they can be considering what they have. Ian is 6, and Jackson is now 3. Ian is in Kindergarten and started steriods a couple months ago.
@TheRascal5678 - My wife and I had no idea that we were "prone" to this disease. No one in her family had had this disease before (passed from mother through genetics). We found out about the disease after both kids were born, Jackson was close to 1 year and Ian was close to 4.
My nephew is 5 and was just diagnosed with DMD. My brother took him to the doctors at 3 because he couldn't run or jump and the doctor's said he just had large hip bones. We are doing our first MDA walk this month and are desperately trying to get donations to help find a cure.
We really should do a update...I now have 2 kids with DMD...Ian is 6 and Jackson is 3...doing as well as they can! Most importantly, they are happy kids.
Very nicely done video. My son is days away from being 5yrs old, and in the summer of 2010 he was diagnosed with Duchenne. This video captured all of what we were feeling as well. Thank you for sharing this video online. After I dried my tears, I posted it for awareness on my MDA lock up website. God bless you and your sons.

it IS NORMAL howeer not to walk at age one. Perhaps subconciously you saw other things as well.
