@thenameuwisheduhad You're not supposed to be actually able to kill it in Dead Space 2, it's supposed to chase you pretty much until the end of the game, I believe. This may or may not be a glitch that can be exploited (Not too sure if it was intentional or not), but normally you'd have to fight you way through a series of long, narrow corridors with this thing chasing you almost constantly. By throwing it in the fan, it pretty much makes that section MUCH easier

@LeNNaKo Don't do either of those. Spraying will waste ammo, and the Ubermorph will follow you if you run. When you meet it, first dismember its limbs then use Stasis. This will buy you a LOT of time to focus on running away or dismembering other Necromorphs since it drastically slows down its regeneration. The video is actually using a glitch to kill the Ubermorph. Hope this helped.

Now thats helpful. Was a massive fan of Dead Space 1 so on my first attempt at this game I went for survivalist. Man how I struggled. Died god knows how many times and that bastard regenerator was really pissing me off. Got to the final fight with about 20 pulse rifle rounds and 10 plasma rounds. Am sorry to say, I couldn't kill destroy the marker, just no way. Was melee-ing those little shadow dudes! He will pay for making me rush through...

When you move the corpse to unlock the door using the scanner, the one that has the Ubermorph and a puker in it, once the door's unlocked you can turn around and go back. The door behind you should be locked, but you can still go through. Once you get to the elevator a couple rooms back, the game glitches and Isaac falls through the floor of the elevator and falls through empty space for a long time before dying. pretty sure thats it ^ ^

glitch. that point of the game was rushed trememndously, the very purpose of the ubermorph is to stop you from chilling and having a look around at the really rushed graphics of that level. hell, theres a glitch where you can go back to a room that should be locked, and you fall right through the floor around that area.

There is a good trick, when the Ubermorph chases you, if you get into the previous room or corridor the Ubermorph will not be able to accede, it is a mistake of the game.
