This video took me back to '92 when I was 19, working on 25th St & 6th Ave and being scared to walk pass the Limelight after I got off of work. I was SCARED of the Club Kids. Lol. Then, my friend took me to the Limelight one night. I was still 19. We tried to get in through the side entrance on 20th St but the arrogance bouncer wouldn't let us in. So, we went to the front, talked to Michael and he let us in. He was so cool to talk to. I can't believe I was scare of him. Lol
@mutinlupa Michael Alig is the only reason Limelight was what it was. He was the ORIGINAL club kid. So it makes sense he's going to be older than the other club kids. But he did start when he was younger obviously.
Michael Alig was kind of long in the tooth to be a club kid? He was like a 27 year old, balding club kid, he was 10 years older than most of the other club kids.
