Thanks. My friend and I are training for the Sasuke trials and we'd like to let you know that your videos have helped a ton. Look for Charles Chavez in the competition! (I doubt you'll see me there though. He leaves me in the dust when were practicing)
a better way to get a good feel for the warped wall is to go to some skatepark and find a big halfpipe, it's a lot more like the one on the show compared to just doing it on a straight wall
yeh, i've always wondered how people can't do it but i don't really have any room to talk considering that i haven't ever tried the real one in the course.
I learned my wall flips right before I began landing my back flips consistently, I believe. I could do them on flat ground, but it was like a 50/50 thing. :P
In my opinion, the standing back flip doesn't help much when learning the wall flip. Its technique is pretty different from the wall flip, mostly because you have to generate all the force yourself with a SBF (when you are in the air), where as you can push off the wall during a WF.

I would if I could, but the only one near me is a pathetic 8 feet tall.
It's ok, though. I completed the Warped Wall on G4's Ninjafest 4 last April. It was super easy. I don't see how people have trouble with it. o.O

In my opinion, learning to run up walls to do wall flips is what helped me.

yeh i've been meaning to try one of those. i figure i should be able to do one since i can regular back tucks on flat

Good luck, though!
