I've always been taught that calypsos are turning attitude jumps? I have heard it called a Kitri, but I think it has a more "official" French name. Couldn't tell you what it is right off the top of my head, though :P

they definitely should be longer. three seconds is just not enough to show pure beauty of ballet. it's just not. it justly deserves so much more time due to the beauty and passion brought into it. you cannot see all of that in just a jump for three seconds. you cannot.
