I've been wanting to get an acoustic with really low action and I heard that takamines have em loww.

The action is pretty high at the beginning. I have it...but you can fix that in a couple of minutes. It sounds ok...I would buy the es44c model if I had the money before the es31c

why the es44c instead of the es31c? i'm currently debating between both models. why do you think the es44c is better? thanks!

I've tried a couple of es44c guitars after I bought es31c and the es44c sounds so much better. The es31 I didn't like at all. It's all about the sound, so check them both out and choose the better sounding one. Cheers

No problem. I also found that the bigger body projects more sound. As you can tell this guy plays cool funk and it sounds good but if he was to use the es44c he would get a little more mids and lows out of his strumming. Good luck!

I think it's a laminate top but I'm not 100% sure man. I can't find anything on that either. Sorry I couldn't answer that question all the way.
