the people who moan about doc martin being filmed there are prob not even from cornwall...sad old gits lol and even if you are from cornwall what gives you the right to moan because you happen to live in cornwall to stop anyone else enjoying it.

i live locally and the only way people can really complain about it is the way the people are being stereotyped... the cornish accents are kind of cheesey and the other british accents arent brilliant either.. Martin Clunes' accent is fine because its genuine of course.

I saw two episodes of this series for the first time this week on an afternoon re-run. It's charming and set in a beautiful location. Martin Clunes demonstrates what a good actor he is as the sombre doctor in contrast to his jack-the-lad role in Men Behaving Badly!

If you like Doc Martin - get DVD of "Death at a Funeral" Not ony is it hillarious, but the house and scenery is great. Haven't laughed so much for a long time. Riotous.
