"Tranny" is really not an acceptable term. I sincerely don't think a lot of people mean any harm and are just plainly unaware of the terminology but, if a transsexual person is indeed either going through the "change" or has completed the process, in the male-to-female cases, they are women. And contrary to popular belief, it's not a choice to be this way any more than being a choice to be born with blue or brown eyes. One chooses to either live w/ it in silence or make the necessary changes.
