  • This was the source of melodic inspiration for Brian Wilson's " Surfer Girl"

  • Really SUPERB arrangement! Thanks for posting!

The home organists who have not had the theatre organ tradition just can't match these interpretations. Search "Percy Vickery" for another one. I hope that these YouTube videos will be a source of style for people learning these pieces at home. They're simply not played merely as the notes on the page.

  • I lived in the Atlanta area for a long time and remember when the Fox came close to destruction.

So glad that the marvelous building and the fabulous organ were saved. Last summer I attended Region IV American Guild of Organists convention in Atlanta. Some of us got to visit the Fox and hear "Mighty Mo"...what a treat!

  • Great sound and good acoustics too. A joy to listen to - - love the pipe organ - theater or otherwise.

  • Used to listen to Larry 30 years ago at the "Pizza & Pipes" chain in the Bay Area (San Fran) and enjoyed his style and warm personality.

Great to see him still at it!

  • Is it still there?

  • Yes It is

  • Good to hear ,thank you and Merry Christmas.:)

  • What a great sounding organ, and a great playing style. I could listen to this all day. Love it.
