Ive found that using gangplank runes and masteries gives him alot of sustain compared to trundle

I like going flat ap quints and glyphs, with attack speed reds and armor yellows. start dorans ring and you can do tons of damage with your abilities, heal a ton, and your passive scales with ap and deals double damage to neutral monsters.

Would Jungle Alistar still be semiviable? You talked about the jjungle in your Ahri Tier List in that AOE junglers are really strong right now. Would Trample be enough of an aoe for that to be decent? Oh and also i imagine his transition is pretty good in that he is kind of a support jungler like Nunu or Karma.

@Yuizele oh he's definitely one of the best jungle picks. The thing is - he excels way more with coordinated teams since he can't really kill people but enable his team to do so. He's also a weak duelist.

@stonewall008 Regarding the duelist thingie: i assume you could decently disengage tho with the amount of disable he brings as a pick, so I personally think that might not be the worst. And i dont think the "he cant kill" thing is a problem, as long as the key members pick the kills up e.g. your AP or your Carry. But yea, i agree with the coordinated team thing. That has alwys been a weakness of Alistar in my eyes. Can you run this jungle without the runes tho? prolly not :(

IMO, I think that Alistar needs some buffs to his numbers. His AP ratios got nerfed to much for it to be viable in most cases. Also I never did understand why he doesn't use AD for his ratios, but that is riot's choice.

I personally like wolf - blue and then gank mid or top/bottom depending on what side you are on, the gank will most likely give a kill and in worst case give your lane a huge advantage.
