i was a HUGE fan till I found out bob and mickey go camping with bush, chenney, rockafeller, the heads of GE, GM, BP, you name it....they are both longstanding members of the ultra elite bohemian club...A group no peaceloving man could associate with even for a second.,,this mad me VERY sad.... Its not much different than shell oil starting greenpeace i gues.

@timetohuntowls Weir is reported to have been involved in Bohemian Grove activities, and his Wikipedia page mentions he may be a member. But the Bohemian Club was started as an organization for journalists, artists and musicians. Only later did they openly invite conservative rich people, as much to build a bridge to working with those people as anything. As such, the Bohemian Club includes the full spectrum of political viewpoints. The commonality seems to be money. Weir has that.

Cool, I'm going to see them this friday in New Hampshire. I've seen over a hundred Dead shows from the 70's through the 90's. This will be the first time i've see Bob in 20 years.
