The srt4 is hondas worse nightmare lol, aside that is a ugly looking car its got a turbocharged engine, and not only that but it weights 2880 pounds!!! The s2000 definitely needs forced induction to compete in these roll-on/drag races since its only making 200ish to the wheels and even less torque...road course is a true test of one's abilities.
@ElMenor239 Dodge's 2.4L produces 174hp without the turbo. If it made the same NA power as the S2000 it would be a different story again. Apple and oranges, cant compare any of it.

Basically it was really a fair match due to the fact that the s2000 only had 4 mods but the srt had double the mods add 4 more to the s2000 see what you get out of it.

Srt4's are just a higher model "NEON" they still don't look that nice. Take the same 2 cars to a race track with turns! The s2000 would kill the srt4!!! The s2000 is just the all around better car. First off the chassis is completely different, its what Honda calls an X-Bone monocoque, secondly the F-engines in the accords have NOTHING to do with the F20C or the F22C. The F20C and the F22C have more in common with the K-Series than the F-engines in the accords. Even with 1k in suspension on the SRT4, thats not gonna outrun any s2k on the track, and 1k is no money for suspension. I spent 3k on my KW V3 Clubsport.

The skittle just told the S2000 to taste the rainbow ;). Stock vs stock it's a really good match up. Once you start stacking up the stages on the SRT though it's not even close. Stage three can run mid twelves. Big turbo swaps in the SRT can run low elevens. Things are nasty. (I own a stage two SRT and a 2004 GTO)

im not hating or anything, the SRT4 has respectable performance, but the s2k is the better all around sports car. 2 seats, super lightweight,RWD, high revving engine. The SRT4 is nowhere near the quality of the S2k. SRT4 is also FWD.
@MrBoostedyota73 spooling faster gives you a greater midrange...it's not peak hp/torque but having a better midrange helps alot,especially during these types of races.
You don't need to remove the soft top or motor, the hard top will be latched on top like you see on the car with the soft top in the convertible position. I know this because i have one and i'm using both the soft and hard top
You don't know why it's so quick? It's a bolt on car and should have pulled that S2K way harder. I'm sorry but an intake, exhaust, gears s2k isn't gonna be pulling a bolt on SRT-4 unless he was running really low boost.
@TrentB924 I think you're underestimating the effect a high revving car can gain from a set of extremely aggressive gears. This is still just a stage 1 SRT. Put on a set of 4.77's on a stock S2000 with 210rwhp and you just shaved 1/2 a second off your ET. Both these cars are low 13 second cars. The SRT just traps a little higher and the S2000 has a little quicker ET. (From a dig the SRT can't catch back up by the 1320.
@xxnissansilviaxx you don't have to lose the soft top, just keep it down while the hardtop is on. Unless you get a CR which doesn't have a soft top from factory.
@xxnissansilviaxx You only have to remove the soft top assembly if you want to save weight. I have my soft top still you can just throw your hard top right over it, fits like a dream. If you take your soft top out im pretty sure you need to make custom brackets to help hold the weight of the hardtop, i could be wrong about that though.
Yes, the SRT-4 may beat it but gotta give props to the AP2 S2K for it's lovely screaming engine. At the end, the S2K gets you girls and not on a 4-door grocery getter.
@Roger0416 You can find OEM hardtops from hardtopguy for about 3200 new, you can find used ones for like 1700. The spoon mooncraft you can find for like 3800. Just depends on the brand, but be ready to spend a few thousand easy.

Basically it was really a fair match due to the fact that the s2000 only had 4 mods but the srt had double the mods add 4 more to the s2000 see what you get out of it.
plus the s2k is legit end of story.. =)

This race was going in a straight line. The s2000 has better handling and would beat the srt4 on any turn.. srt4's are only fast going strait. Srt4's are just a higher model "NEON" they still don't look that nice. Take the same 2 cars to a race track with turns! The s2000 would kill the srt4!!! The s2000 is just the all around better car. Looks, performance, quality and reliablity. Thats why they cost more. I see a lot of "Neons" every day. I can't say that for the s2k. S2K FTMFW!!! :P"

@heNzVf20c lol and a s2000 is a glorified accord ex got the f series engine and i see accords all the time. honestly srt4 vs s2000 stock the srt4 would win. but they are also 2 different cars ones turbo the other one isnt. so you can out perform each other all day long, some people like 2 seaters and alot like 4 seater cause u can put a system in the trunk and hear the bang. about your turns and stuff well spend 1k on suspension and now the srt4 outperforms the s2k still under your s2k price

@hotpapi17 you have to be hella retarded. The S2000 is not a glorified accord. First off the chassis is completely different, its what Honda calls an X-Bone monocoque, secondly the F-engines in the accords have NOTHING to do with the F20C or the F22C. The F20C and the F22C have more in common with the K-Series than the F-engines in the accords. Even with 1k in suspension on the SRT4, thats not gonna outrun any s2k on the track, and 1k is no money for suspension. I spent 3k on my KW V3 Clubsport.

well as for those people who playing the what if game with s2k saying what if it had a turbo it would be a differen story, so what last i check a complete turbo kit run about $5000 for an s2k, well what if the srt4 had and extra $5000 of mods, and if our two what if cars were to race my guess is that we have the same results

@bleon20 Wrong, the F20C or the F22C breathes way better than a shitty SRT4 and its backward technology. The s2000 also has much more aggressive gearing and RWD for more grip.

Yes they do. Minus the CR(club racer). Cr's come with only hardtop. No AC or radio either.. Unless you wanna pay an extra 2-3k.
As much as people bash on srt4s.. They are defiantly quick cars. Unless your boosted S's can't keep up with very many stock turboed cars. Don't get me wrong. They are quick.. But I wouldn't say fast. You need to put AT LEAST 4k into one to make it fast. Iv already dumped like 5k in mine and I'm making like 10 more hp.. If that. Mostly suspension,ful

The skittle just told the S2000 to taste the rainbow ;). Stock vs stock it's a really good match up. Once you start stacking up the stages on the SRT though it's not even close. Stage three can run mid twelves. Big turbo swaps in the SRT can run low elevens. Things are nasty. (I own a stage two SRT and a 2004 GTO)

im not hating or anything, the SRT4 has respectable performance, but the s2k is the better all around sports car. 2 seats, super lightweight,RWD, high revving engine. The SRT4 is nowhere near the quality of the S2k. SRT4 is also FWD.

You don't need to remove the soft top or motor, the hard top will be latched on top like you see on the car with the soft top in the convertible position. I know this because i have one and i'm using both the soft and hard top

You don't know why it's so quick? It's a bolt on car and should have pulled that S2K way harder. I'm sorry but an intake, exhaust, gears s2k isn't gonna be pulling a bolt on SRT-4 unless he was running really low boost.

@TrentB924 I think you're underestimating the effect a high revving car can gain from a set of extremely aggressive gears. This is still just a stage 1 SRT. Put on a set of 4.77's on a stock S2000 with 210rwhp and you just shaved 1/2 a second off your ET. Both these cars are low 13 second cars. The SRT just traps a little higher and the S2000 has a little quicker ET. (From a dig the SRT can't catch back up by the 1320.

@xxnissansilviaxx you don't have to lose the soft top, just keep it down while the hardtop is on. Unless you get a CR which doesn't have a soft top from factory.

@xxnissansilviaxx You only have to remove the soft top assembly if you want to save weight. I have my soft top still you can just throw your hard top right over it, fits like a dream. If you take your soft top out im pretty sure you need to make custom brackets to help hold the weight of the hardtop, i could be wrong about that though.

@Roger0416 You can find OEM hardtops from hardtopguy for about 3200 new, you can find used ones for like 1700. The spoon mooncraft you can find for like 3800. Just depends on the brand, but be ready to spend a few thousand easy.
