This is beautiful! Where can I download this? Is there anyway you could email it? I'd be eternally grateful. I literally cannot stop listening to it. -3
I bid the, return to us, O mightiest, wises, and fairest of creatures, so that you may guide us once more, for look what we have become. . . without it. It would also help if you could make peace with the Dwarves so they can come out and teach us Westerners how to cook. No, nut seriously, the world was much more beautiful in the time of the elves, and the dwarves were a blessing, albeit less well recieved than the elves. I bet if 1000 people sang this song on a coastline, they'd come back.
Sung in Sindarin... Fanuilos heryn aglar Rin athar annun-aearath, Calad ammen i reniar Mi 'aladhremmin ennorath! A Elbereth Gilthoniel l chin a thul lin miriel Fanuilos le linnathon Ne ndor haer thar i aearon. A elin na gaim eglerib Ned in ben -anor trerennin Si silvirin ne pherth 'waewib Cenim lyth thilyn thuiennin. A Elbereth Gilthoniel Men echenim si derthiel Ne chaerad hen nu 'aladhath Ngilith or annun-aearath.
GilGalad was an elven king, of him the harpers sadly sing. The last whose realm was fair and free, between the mountains and the sea. His sword was long, his lance was keen, his shining helm afar was seen. The countless stars of heaven's field were mirrored in his silver shield. But long ago he road away where he dwelleth none can say. For into Darkness fell his star, in the land of Mordor where the shadows are.
This song brings tears to my eyes

@eleneressea
You could download it with the software "Youtube to Mp3-converter" by Dvdvideosoft :)
Its original title is "A Elbereth Gilthoniel".
Good luck! :D

What is the song? Very nice.
yoginipeacelove 10 months ago
@yoginipeacelove It's a song to Elbereth, an Elven queen. Search: A Elbereth Gilthoniel, and I'm sure you'll find it.

@larbo1616
Not an Elven queen. Elbereth Gilthoniel is the Sindarin name for Varda Elentari. One of the Valar, spouse of Manwe.
