  • No matter what you do, there is always going to be a 4 year-old asian doing it better than you

  • Have you read Prof Ian Stevensons work on reincarnated children? His evidence is very compelling but this makes me think...."he has done this before in another lifetime" but it takes the care and nurturing of parents for a soul to rediscover his talents! Truly a special child.

  • Impressive. I am Asian too, but this young man is a child prodigy!

  • WOW

  • look how cute those little hands are :O awwwww

  • Gifted

  • Gifted

  • Gifted

  • Very Good - would be better with pedal though lol

  • so cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • omg i haven't even taken my grade 1 piano exam yet and i'm 16 :0

  • They are that good because they practise 24/7 but it still is good

  • wonderful BRAVOOOOOOOOOO

  • he can go for Malaysian Record

  • grade 8... 4 years old... yep, feeling patronised.

  • Insane!!! He really makes me laugh with that really funny grin - cheeky imp!

Good luck, keep up the fantastic work.

  • I can do that, here hold my beer

  • bravo

  • ha, what a racists! i love Pandas because they are white, black and asian.

  • Can he play capriccio please?

  • i love how this is amazing and we're all like woah yet the parents or whoever always write, sorry if it's not good or whatever or that it's uneven...who cares it's soo cool and amazing for a 4 yr old especially!!!

  • Level: Asian

  • There isnt a video i come around thats really good without an asian being involved -,- lol :DD

  • Awesome! To be honest, i'm 13 and i'm not that pro. x_x

  • Yaa---a...I'm not Asian

  • Great!

  • why i start to feel like shit

  • HAHAH that smile at the end was brilliant!

  • actually i know....u will say that asians have a talents right....but most of asians does not know how to play a musical instrutments....asians just play when they still young...just that only...

  • Why can't I be Asian ¬_¬

  • what's the point playing the piano at such an early age? when the hand is still so small? but really, this is amazing!! ><

  • @McFlyCristina obviously he doesnt need big hands -_____-

  • @McFlyCristina At the time of birth until they are about 5 years old, is the vital learning stage of children. The amount of information and skills a child learns in their first five years are incredible compared to what they learn the rest of their lives. This boy has probably been playing for like 1-2 years. If he had started playing the piano at say, 20 years old, he probably wouldn't catch on as quickly. ^^

  • asian children always achieve high marks in school, and achieve great feats in the western world because their parents push them to be their very best, and nothing less will do. If we start to teach our kids from a very young age, and make sure that they practise non-stop until they get it right, we would have amazing kids too.

  • @mainerblainer1 nah. not worth it. life is about enjoying yourself. :P

  • genetically engineered !!! :p

  • Flipping hell, im 14 and im still on the baby book :(

  • he has very good handform. i used to play piano for years. just forget how 2 read. so i play by ear/ but yes hes talented. def not fake

  • OH GOD! Why isn't my brother like him?

  • Aww!!<3 That cheesy smile at the end was just adorable.

  • Hes SO CUTE!!! and, geez... hes awesome at playing the piano

  • Can i have what hes on please?

  • sure you could poptart just practice-

  • SIMPLESMENTE FANTASTICO

  • OH EM G

  • Wow I'm 17 and I am only on grade 5 hahah!

  • o......m........f.......g

  • Grade 8. Ok.

  • How did you get your child to do this???

  • good job you are so good playing on the paino

  • wow

  • Amazing i am not even that good and i am triple his age

  • Really amazing :) Not trying to be mean or racist or anything.. But why is it that Asians are really good at some things? o_O Serious question. I mean, I envy it I want to be Asian!

  • good

  • i couldnt do this in a lifetime dang!!!! great job

  • good luck with octaves mate

  • I bet his back is covered in whip scars from his asian parents beating the talent into him.

    He is very talented regardless.

  • @VoreTechz1985 Haha! I don't think they beat him but probably did tell him off and restrict him from tv to practice and stuff like that..

  • WHY?????? Why are the Asians always the talented ones *__*

  • @happychrisp They are so many.

Anyway, this kid is great. Sometimes, I don't understan how they get to play as well.

  • @happychrisp because they did not forget what dedication is.

  • @happychrisp Its rather you that have a culture for self-indulgence and most of those who run away to find a better life in USA did not have the opportunity to practice. Asians are as goos as all other humans with a culture for bettering themselfs.

  • @happychrisp Because we are practicing piano while you watch youtube. GO PRACTICE YOUR PIANO!!! -_-

  • @0ldsage shouldn't you be off practising now then instead of watching this?

  • @happychrisp I'm Asian and I'm not musically talented

  • @littlehighers same, if anything i have a lack of talent for being a asian :(

  • @happychrisp

if you were practicing every day for a few hours since you were 3, I think you could manage it....

  • @happychrisp because we PRACTICE and were not LAZY!!! :P seriously we practice a loooot everyday! :)

  • @happychrisp dedication my friend , time and dedication..thats all

  • @happychrisp It's not that they have some supernatural power or genius that we don't, it's the fact that asian parents are the strictest people in the world!!!!

  • @happychrisp They aren't they r just always the DISCIPLINED ones! Anyone that has an ear for music cab be this good with 2 things PRACTICE and TALENT.He didn't get like this over night:) Thumbs up if you agree with me!

  • @happychrisp I asked this once and an asian person replied to me saying that it is purely from pushy parents! Still they do have the work ethic!

  • @happychrisp

u have a problem with that?

  • @happychrisp it's in the bloOd ;))

  • @happychrisp They are not the talented ones, they are the hard working ones ;-)

  • @happychrisp

    Be happy,"happychrisp".

That's not always the fact.Look at all those European composers!

  • @happychrisp because their parents care about them, and they are also smart because of the same reason, they actually study, you cant be less talented if you have put the same effort into ur work like them

  • thumbs up for having the exact same piano (minus the shininess)

  • does he read music ? it's incredible at that age ..

  • My god! An Asian playing this.. how fascinating...

  • The cooooolest dude playing the piano at 4....I hope he enjoys it and it is not a chore with his parents pushing him to do what he does not want.

  • omg this is the cutest thing ever!!!

  • I must've been twelve when I played this song...and I struggled a little with this..AND i'm Asian -_-

  • la risa del final!!! divino!

  • Watch the tempo! However this child is very very talented!

  • i love asian people. i dont know why, but i always did love hanging out with asian people xD

  • amazing. how did he do that? great job..

  • This is amazing!!!

  • PRODIGY!!

  • he has a reach of about 3 notes that is crazy

  • HOLY MOTHER OF GOD! 4 YEARS OLD????????

  • Comment removed

  • Anybody who makes a comment he is great because he's Asian is just off the wall. When given the right stimulation, motivation & encouragement anyone can get ahead. 4 movies: "Music of the Heart", "Knights of South Bronx", " Lean on Me", "Stand & Deliver" all showed motivation from teachers can push students to excel...

Definitely think there is a strong influence from the parents. Don't think a kid at this age will ever decide for himself to get seriously into playing piano or any instrument.

  • @mcooper222

    Exactly;

Too many ignorant people yap stupid racial stereotype one liners.

Everyone has a capability and a talent. Skateboarders and breakdancers are scientists of sorts in how they calculate precise bodily movement equations with their minds and instincts rather than on a chalkboard.

Another thing people forget is that some youngsters LOVE playing music like some kids love doing paintings.

Many parents love their kids talents without pushing.

    This clip's end says that

  • don't feel shitty my friend. Biopsychological equality. You too have the capacity, but do you have the discipline?

  • what a beautiful child and he is amazing can you imagine how wonderful his playing will be in 5 more years. Thanks this is incredible

  • so how long does one have to prepare for an exam piece or pieces?

  • impressive for a 4 year old, would probably be an amazing player when he is 20 if he keeps his dedication.

  • ASIAN KIDS FTW.

  • I have taught many Asian gifted students before, but this is just extraordinary!

  • i hate to watch such videos...

they make me feel so shitty!

    :\

that's a compliment to the little boy BTW!

  • AMAZING

  • Aawww, those little sausage fingers... cute!!

  • that was sick for a 4 year old

  • You guys...I don't know if this is just me, but when I'm playing difficult pieces it's actually EASIER for me to memorize them because I can then watch the keys during big jumps and what not. Just pointing that out.

Another thing, I'd like to know when this boy started playing piano. He's incredibly amazing for four years old! but I doubt he would have gotten so good on his own interests. Please let him enjoy anything that he wants to do as a little boy! He's really a genius though!

  • @j3nnabear

Definitely agree. Now lets see some of your original videos...

  • @j3nnabear

What's wrong about parents giving kids musical instruments to play....? I never heard anyone complain about parents giving their kids a lot of books to read or too much paint to do art with. Why is there the assumption that kids playing pianos very good must have boot-camp parents?

  • I love how he cant reach the keys :D so cute

  • OK... I really lost my passion on playing piano.......

  • im asian 12 years old grade 3. 4 year old grade 8 omg

  • He´s a new Mozart.:)

  • hehehehe.... i really like how he plays it..... also at the end of his video, he's so cute! bravo! :)

  • He'll be able to play even better when he can reach the pedals ;)

  • Awrhh asians/

Am ashamed to be an asian, i cant even play the piano :/

  • @CoolITSLilNat YOU DISHONAH! YOU DISHONAH TO YO FAMILY!

  • people who complain they cant play cuz they got small hands or small fingers should see this kid haha

  • im learning this song like for a year now and all i can play is the beginning

  • i wanna eat his hands <3 so cute xD

  • WOW so young and talented

  • Seriously?! 4!

  • :') <3

  • wow

  • cute and smart!

  • Incredible

  • Nooooooooooo.............. T_T

  • does anyone else think he is also good at academics as well as extra curricular activities?

  • This little fellow held my attention from beginning to that marvellous grin at the end. His total concentration as he stretched those tiny hands over those awkward left hand intervals is a treat to see. Makes me wish I had kids ... or at least one exactly like him! He's adorable!

  • love to look at his cute fingers moving on the piano =D

  • this is amazing

  • My favourite bit is when he smiles at the end.

  • needs to be faster bro

  • Ive wasted my life

  • @thepianoplayer416 omg. Just give him a break. U don't have to be so serious with a four yr old.

  • Needs work to get the speed up.

Typical: play slow in places you're not too familiar like you're learning to perfect the piece.

    Not typical: age?

Have to assume out of 7B of the world's population, there have to be a few child prodigies (young Mozarts & Einsteins) waiting to be discovered in remote corners of the world.

Back in the 18th century, there may be many good players waiting to be discovered. Now everybody is online, many more young geniuses get noticed.

    This kid got potential...

  • wtf!?

    plays better than me...

  • i think he's just too young

  • he interests me because not only is he playing all the notes right, he also has it memorized :I

  • 難以置信耶.....厲害哦!!!! 給一億個讚^_^

  • prodigy? :O

  • We're never going to beat you people

  • 鍵盤都比弟弟的手大了!但你好厲害喔!!

  • I've got something in common with this baby: we have the same Yamaha piano.

  • @AgraMahnu same lol

  • Great smile @ the end!!! (Also, his TINY fingers/hands!! Lovely...)

  • 1 month and learn AND MEMORISE the piece. Great Work!

  • Blimey!! He's good. Like really good!! But he is asian so -_-

  • OH MY GOSH!! Amazing!

  • He doesn't even have music in front of him... omo... and that grade is twice his age...

  • what . i started learning the piano at 4 and i'm 14 now and only at grade 8 ! D:

  • nice

  • dangggg!!!

  • I wonder from what age he started learning piano

  • @icyyumi probably started when he first born

  • The boy is so cute!

  • wow genius

  • anyone playing that is amazing enough but hes only four!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • WOOOOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, he is soooooo cute! :D

  • I love the grin at the end!!

  • singaporean?

  • So difficult to play with such small hands! Bravo, Alex!

  • Amazing playing!

  • WHOA!

  • YAY ALEX!!

  • Fantastic job. I love Bach's Inventions. He is so talented.
