  • * this is a GREAT exercise PERFORMED VERY POORLY. * The glute should be the main muscle group being targeted throughout much of the range of motion - once the athlete steps UP the position should lock, and not half-heartily be performed like it is being done...currently only thing that will be improved is accelerating the knee up?=USELESS. the point should be the focus of DRIVING from the glute = maximal ground force application... by using the posterior chain correctly.

  • Great vido guys. Can you give me an idea what kind of load is on the barbell? I am really looking for an equivalent ratio to what these guys could squat. I coach juniors in rowing, and I am looking for a leg resistance exercise that dosn't put the same weight through the spine as a normal back squat.
