Hey Dan I'm a bio major and it's a little hard to tell from the video but it appears as if you are right about the skull. Not really sure what kind of wildlife you have in the area but it looks like a coyote skull, just because it's so elongated, not positive though. :)

Awesome...parts of that remind me of Africa! ..and yea, I know, I've replied to some of your videos but I don't have any of my own..maybe when school lets out :D
Ola Paulinho, fico contente que gostou do video. Estou morando em Presidente Prudente ainda...ja faz 3 anos. Me procure no Orkut, meu nome é "Daniel Gardner".
Wow Drika, what a coincidence. We live in Presidente Prudente, so it was an easy walk. Your town is small, but very clean and friendly (from what we could see). We are the sons of a missionary to Brazil. Where are you now? In the USA as an exchange student?
Great video! :) Did the train pass by you anytime during your walk? I mean, it wouldn't be tracks there if no train went there, would it? :) Oh, and what did the Portoguese in the comment above here mean? :)
Thanks eva! I had though before hand how nice it would be if the train would pass by, but it never did while we were out. I'm pretty sure that train route is still used, just I guess not on Monday mornings. "Parabens" means "congratulations" and the other Portuguese comment was correctly translated by Racherz. How do you say congratulations in Norwegian?
Oooh wow I dont think you would be able to get me up at 4am to go walking!! Haha but it did look like fun!! Brazil looks really nice!! I wanna hear u speaking Portuguese!! Hehe!! Rach xxx
It really was a whole lot of fun, especially when you're in the pitch dark. It's funny Rach - everybody here in Brazil wants to hear us speaking in English. :^) exexex :P
OK I think I gt that...very good thanks, im gonna try to do a video that shows...ummm summit like....shows Brazil and aswell us speaking in Portuguese?? hehe!! I tried :P!! Rach xxx
There's no way my sister would ever get up at 4am just to go on a hike:) But I would rather do that and have an adventure like this, then get up at 6am as I do every day for school
Adventure is awesome, sleepy head. :^) And even better: everybody at the other city was staring at us (not that David looked normal..:P ) so it was terrific! That was my second time to follow the route, and David's first, and I hope to do it again.
Daniel. Who is David? He looks a lot like you. I was curious if this was a trip you planned just for the adventure or if there was more to it. Thank you for sharing. I have never been to Brazil and probably will never get there but it seems nice (through the stories you tell).
Pookie, Dave is my younger brother, (by 1 year and a bit). It really was for the adventure of it, and it´s terrific to do, although people do look at you weird. I miss the US, but Brazil is quite an experience.
bravoss, yes they did, what with restaurants and a park area with those cement benches. But neither Dave or I had money on us. :^) We climbed the mountain because it was there. :^) Mostly just to have fun doing it, and it was quite an enjoyable ordeal.
haha, your brother is funny. "UGH, I got dirty!" "Purple!"
Why so little sleep before hand? you guys are serious night owls.

That was quite the long adventure and I liked that. Are the two of you guys there as exchange students?

Another 5* vid' :)
Wow. I can easily imagine how tired you've been after this little adventure. This short road movie was perhaps a good start for something 'bigger'...
Looking forward to seeing a 2 hours' film on your walk accross Brasil, ;)
Take care, Lenaïg

You reminded me...I was planning to ask this but I forgot: Does he always wear a towel on his head?;)
petra16 5 years ago
Haha, nope. That was actually a t-shirt, and it works miracles in the battle against sunburn. Plus - AHA! - it looks groooovy. :^)
DanielGardner 5 years ago
I didnt' know you have to battle against sunburns at 5am :P
petra16 5 years ago
Oops...she's on to us. Well...uh...it looks groovy then? PLUS you can get it wet and it cools your head like Dave did.
Cheesy excuses I know. ;)
