clubs in many major cities have become glamorous bars with dance floors packed with too many people dominated by top 40, hip hop, gangster rap, and electro house. it's hard for a dancer to go out and just dance to deep house music on a good floor that isn't covered in spilled drinks.

Glad to hear dancers are keeping house real in NYC. It's not real fun here in Baltimore, not enough love for house at the clubs. It's like you said; all about drinking and whatnot. So, we don't really have any places to dance down here either :P

Yay, Marjory!!! LOL Good post, seriously! I grew up seeing this woman dominate in the dance scene. She's come along way. Legendary dancer in the NYC underground scene! House music has pretty much become a sanctuary for true lovers of dancing and creativity. God bless house music!
