Just seeing this made me angry with myself because I know that I love God more than anything but the time I spend with Him doesn't show it. I want Him to know that I love Him just like He loves me. Maybe not as much as He loves me but I'm trying.

I don't just doubt, I rationally know that the God of Abraham is a lie. It's a control scheme. It acts like an abusive person and attacks all parts of your psyche. For believers, you have no freedom of choice. God is sitting over your shoulder like big brother telling you what to do.

To love a being which we can't even define more than a girlfriend is de facto narcissism. Every person's idea of a God is as individual as they are. It's a fairy tale, you know, like Santa Claus, or the Easter bunny. Christianity likes mythical beings.

When you see suffering, strife, and injustice, you know there is no God. You just choose to ignore it. Religion truely is the opiate of the masses. It holds humanity back from seeking truth and justice for all.

Wow..I asked myself that question sometimes too, why is so hard to spend time with God? I put so much love & time in relationships that I need to do that for God.
