  • leave the intellectual questions in more capable hands will ya? your only hurting the cause you support

  • @FenriX123 Hitler tryed to elminated the jews because they were classed as a lower race etc. Did this have to do with Hitler's views on evolution? Do you support Hitler cause? Maybe your not qualified to speak on this topic such evolution?

  • @CROBN ofc im not qualified to speak on evolution, im no biologist, and what the *** has evolution and athiesm got to do with eachother? pulling the hitler card in any discussion makes you the default looser.

  • @FenriX123 I love it how you twist my words, I never proclaimed that BOTH are the same. Pulling the Hitler card? I CLEARLY asked a question. I'm sorry but your misguilded point has no effect, I only ask will you stop mischaracterizing me. Variation in species/kinds does not prove evolution & you don't need to a be biologist to know that changes do have limited.

  • In short, the maker of this video is a laughable ignorant. You can't prove moral subjectivists wrong by pointing out to them that they have opinions about what's good for them, and that these might conflict with others. That is the very basis for moral subjectivism - us having opinions and various reasons and abilities to enforce them. In addition, there are of course objective consequences to subjective choices which put hard limits on what's possible to implement successfully.

  • @Gnomefro People conduct their lives depending on what they believe. If you believe a God, you belive there is rules and you must behave accordingly. If you believe in some PROCESS, there is no rules and you can do as you like, be violent etc CLEARLY you missed the point...

  • Neither option explains the phenomenon we call morality, which is grounded in the valuing of cooperation(Which is a real benefit for finite agents that enhances reproductive success) which necessarily leads to concepts like reciprocity and the golden rule as well as non-violence towards the in-group, as well as concepts like "being productive is a precondition for survival" and everything that follows from that, such as punishing theft.

  • "If there was no ultimate moral giver or judge, claiming that evil or wrong behavior existed would be absurd."

Unless, of course, you recognize that the words "evil" and "wrong" arise from the fact that groups of humans enforce some sort of collectively agreed upon ideas of acceptable behavior to both maintain social order and encourage human flourishing. This video confuses such ideas with people having to accept anything that other people do to them as having equal value to them.

  • @Gnomefro LOL! So you would agree with the professor in this video then, right? Maybe this guy should kidnap you...
