notice that they always come back to the same few positions... because that's the "competition" popular look... it's "dance team" - but to call it hip hop would be to compare it to LA or NYC or someone amazing like a member of a real crew, or the guys who rock a Beyonce tour or an Usher tour or a Justin tour... understand, there is such a DIFFERENCE. But, they are good at what it is they do.

I think the choreography is Brilliant... I think they should've slowed down the tempo just 1/2 a notch, I like how fast it is just not for the whole dance... they need a tad more tempo variation... not so that it is slow, but some of their motions are so fast at moments its hard to enjoy them :) Cinncinnati represent!! I coach a group of high school girls, we're from a small state up up north, everyone is white and to have my girls do hard hip hop doesn't look right. They would pretty much just get made fun of for trying, so I don't know which way to take it. Make them look like something they're not and get called fakers or whatever, or keep them doing what we see on MTV and get comments like this? for what they were going for, whether it was hip hop or not they did it well.

I think the choreography is Brilliant... I think they should've slowed down the tempo just 1/2 a notch, I like how fast it is just not for the whole dance... they need a tad more tempo variation... not so that it is slow, but some of their motions are so fast at moments its hard to enjoy them :) Cinncinnati represent!! Whoot!

I coach a group of high school girls, we're from a small state up up north, everyone is white and to have my girls do hard hip hop doesn't look right. They would pretty much just get made fun of for trying, so I don't know which way to take it. Make them look like something they're not and get called fakers or whatever, or keep them doing what we see on MTV and get comments like this? for what they were going for, whether it was hip hop or not they did it well.

ughh if you brought a more flowing hip hop to nationals don't plan on placing and you can't take this kinda of dance and put it in a jazz or pom category cuz you won't win there either thats why they have this kinda category.

yall need to go check out detroit bop hip hop team and see some real authentic hip hop.....not watered down and imitated like most of theses so called hip hop dance on youtube....go check it out and tell me what you think....hip hop by the originals...

uhh yeah this wasnt hip hop....hip hop is suppose to flow more and look natural to the core....that was Hip hop by numbers....good routine, but it cant be categorized as Hip Hop.

barry youngblood choreographed this routine. look him up im sure you will all feel stupid as hell saying the choreography isnt good or that this isnt real hip hop. its competitive hip hop it has to be stiff and tight and sharp, and there has to be planned out positions! i cant beleive people actually are telling them it would look better if they just stood in random places. holy shit

Its real close to cheerleading, accept they dont do flips, i've been on a dance and a hip hop team belive me theres a big diffrence. They DANCE GREAT BUT lets not call it something its not.
