Nice..a lot of Romanians are English speakers...less, Romanian President, Basescu, nicknamed "Pirate", cuz he sold all Romanian fleet in '90s...soon FMI will be audited by Romanians...Alzajeera should watch them interest area...
I have asked the IMF to audit missions and handsome salaries people are getting for doing what? A division chief can make as much as $300,000 tax-free and $30,000 fringe benefits per year. The organization is disorganized, cold, and arrogant. This nobody shall tell you. Why should they cut the branch where they are comfortably sitting on, this would be suicide. For statistics and data, the whole world should treat the figures with caution as the IMF is constantly changing their figures.
Wake up IMF monkeys!!! Do you even get paid for all this good work? What’s happening here in Romania is going to happen all over Europe, we all foresee a blood bath in Europe soon. Everything ends and your end is near… filthy bankers, 50% of the people are totally broke and we had enough. the moment DID NOT PASS... 7'TH DAY RIOTING :))))))
"initially using his own car" ?? "economics prospects pretty grim" ?? ... come on, AlJazeera ... showing shots of a street lined with pubs with closed shutters in the morning, or winter holidays sale announcements in shop windows ... that was not very honest.
the "riots" took place in an area the size of a football stadium, pubs as close as 50 meters stayed open
The IMF 'creates and issues money as debt' (Rowbotham). Money is created as debt by banks and institutions like the IMF. How much longer must people suffer under this unnecessary and pernicious ponzi system?
the guy from bucharest is not known in Romania he may be an insider he doesn't present the real truth about romania ,we took by far the worst austerity measures for people even compared to greece ,ours finished fortunately that's why the guy says we are stabilized greece will continue with austerity measures ,but until now we took the hardest cuts ,you can't stabilize a country in poverty ,if the chineese comunists knw and promise 8% growth per year to keep public stability we need 4% every year
If they say no.. in go the CIA jackals.. if that fails, a staged coup.. if that fails, a "dictator" will appear in our media and the troops go in to bring him down. Welcome to the "free" market.
The riots in Romania had allready spread throughout the country and they wont leave until president Traian Basescu, prime minister Emil Boc and the current party resignes and they meet all their requirements

I never used to take personal debt seriously, until I saw the effects of the IMF and crippling sovereign debt.

Probably not. Unless you like perpetual debt and losing your sovereignty.
