Dude just a heads up on your DDR vs Graphics card term, you do not use DDR when talking about graphics cards in general, we use the term AGP, or PCI , for that matter, same thing yes, but technically speaking..... better to be spesific

@Ibro41 no, motherboards are only compatible with one type of ram so you cant put ddr3 in a ddr2 ram socket

the processor you have is also only compatible with a certain mhz frequency of ram and ram type

Also why not just do a critical scan? So it tell you what type is it but different pc ram.

If you have a NVIDIA card you can find out what type of ram you have via System Information (link in bottom left corner) under the NVIDIA Control Panel. I just found mine. :)

@jonnyboy1091 yes it will matter, your computer is just made to run ddr2, ddr3 is newer, there for is faster, if you put that into your computer it wont work properly and then it will mess everything up!

NEWER COMPUTERS take newer and faster ram, i used to have a ddr1 computer, i put in ddr3 just for the lolz and it crashed my computer.......then i threw it out of a 2nd story window!
