I strongly recommend on a new navigation game from the Appstore called MATMON.
Matmon is based on missions that you create.
there is no need to load coordinates into your iPhone, just placing the cross hair over your desired location on the map, and enter a location task or hint.
You can share a mission using Bluetooth with other iPhone devices.
does it still work in more remote areas say where you don't really have mobile reception? does the iphone use satelite reception also for it's gps signal or only cell phone towers

it uses cell towers to get a fix. kinda misleading if you ask me but its still a form of gps.
