It is what I was told when my father died, I was 8yrs old. My comment holds up b/c I lost someone who should be alive. My daddy died of cancer. He was misdiagnosed and by the time they diagnosed him correctly, it was to late. I watched him slowly die for 5 mths, the cancer was curable back in 76 & a doc got it wrong & killed him:(

Jeremy Shockey WAS an excellent ballplayer, but overrated. And now he is past his prime. He is frequently injured.  He missed four starts last season and has never started all sixteen games in a season. He hasn't surpassed 700 receiving yards in a season since 2005. I guess Shockey is still a white trash icon. I can't believe someone thought he was still worthy of an endorsement.
