my father is a vietnam war veteran, so i have been brought up to have nothing but the up-most for all vets.  but the ones from vietnam, i dont know theres just something about them. i salute you good sir and this is one heck of a song. welcome home.

First of all, Danny, welcome home, soldier, welcome home.  (((HUGS))) Y'all didn't get the welcome home you so rightfully deserved. Made a promise years ago: any Vietnam Veteran gets a (((HUG))) and welcome home. Consider yourself hugged. =]

Have never been to the wall: served after Vietnam ('83-'85, USAF). But a stark reminder of the ultimate sacrifices, made and paid. Thank you, Sir.

Danny-Very Moving tribute. Appreciate your Spirit and you remind me of those who gave it all. I haven't been to the Wall since the early 90's. I'll be taking my daughter down sometime soon to see the Capital and see the monuments. The Wall is very precious...
