Quick question will the L5240 plus cab fit through a standard garage door or does it present a height issue. I'm trying to determine that from the video but I cannot tell. Also, is it a pain to back up while blowing the snow?
You will need a good eight feet of clearance. I built a steel carport and I needed eight feet of clearance. As far as backing up, you do get used to it after a while. I would not want to do it eight hours a day mind you. You can get one of the good back up cameras that they make these days which would help out a lot. See below 7863348 as he has a similar Kubota which he uses for snow clearing and he has installed a back up camera.
Really cool video. Thanks for sharing. Neat to see what it would be like to buy a cab and add the remote hydraulic cylinder. Geez, heat, radio, sensitive video equipment and your in a diesel tractor as it is snowing. Really cool man.
Wow great video my friend. I'm in Newfoundland and considering a Kubota L4240 Grand cab model with HST. I like your set up. I'll be doing the same mods as you did with my truck blade.
What model is your tractor? I'm ordering a backhoe for mine and the LA854 loader. Enjoyed your video's and the music was great as well:) Enjoy your tractor!
My tractor is a L5240. It is a great machine and I am very happy to have it. It is great to do the snowblowing with and everything that I do around the farm. You will not be disappointed with a Kubota.
Very nice machine, it must be sweet to spend the morning in a nice warm dry cab. Both of my tractors have open seats for now, Well atleast they have canopies.
very nice whats cool its has a stero in there awesome
