@TheYomamashouse Its not the fastest ever, nor was it a dirt bike when I got it. Parts is parts, and in this case I turned a pile of parts into something and gave it a new life! Yay! I don't feel guilty at all for tearing down anything that was vintage. :)

That is incorrect, its going to be ridden more like a sportbike which would explain the type of tires and suspension I put onto it.

Later in the night i watched all your vids about this bike and i have to admit this is a really nice project! Since long time now im in search for a honda rs 125 but i dont have the money for it. A two strokes dirt bike conversion sounds good to me!!! I wish you best of the luck for the future!! Keep riding :D !

I wish that I were able to buy a bit at a time here and there, and make a project out of something like this, but it's a booger finding anything worth a darn around my neck of the woods. This would be the ultimate Summer project right here =)

@Mathemaetica Not much good stuff around here either... EBAY! :-D I always watch for really good deals, and I mean STUPID good deals. Like $10 exhaust pipes, $9 triple trees, $100 GSXR front ends, etc. :)

I have a small concern about the blackbird discs. you said you had to redrill the holes between the old ones because the diamiter was a coupple of mm off. Did you weld up the old holes? if not you have weakened the disc and under the stress of hard braking it could break. Something to think about. By the way Ireally like the project.

@wildcat19671 Good observation, but you're a little over-concerned. Any of the custom fab and machinest guys working on my stuff that has evaluated things, has not had any worry or bad feelings on this modification. Plus I've seen this done before and never seen nor heard anyone having any problem. Thanks for the comment! :)
