if your under 18 do you have to ride with a adult? Thinking about taking the sounder from Tacoma to Seattle to meet up with some friends.

HERE HERE!!!! More trains the better. I'm currently riding the sounder from Sumner to Seattle, then transferring to a bus to attend class every day at the UW. Best choice I ever made was paying for a U-pass and riding Sounder. Beautiful, fast, clean, time to do homework. Theonly complaints I have is that there aren't more trains running throughout the day.
Every day I ride, I look up and see 405 jammed up and smile to myself because I'm on the Sounder. GO PST!!!

Awesome! Next week I'll be starting a new job in Seattle and will start taking te sounder as well but I'm worried about how long it takes from Auburn station or Kent station all the way to Seattle. Is parking free at the stations?? I did some reading on the Sounders website but I couldn't find an answer to these questions. Thanks!

Hi sorry for the late response. But yes, parking is free at Sounder Stations. We have free parking at all stations with the exception of Seattle King Street Station. Congratulations on the new job!

No worries. I have been taking the train this whole week...I LOVE it, I look forward to riding it every morning, it's relaxing and takes only 30 min. from Auburn to Seattle. I like watching all the other riders, they're all in a good mood and doing their own thing.
It would be awesome if they could get trains to go from Seattle/Tukwila to Bellevue, that would lighten up the load for 405....

I wish the contract with BNSF would be renewed to allow even more commuter rail service than there currently is.
