  • This was so fierce ... Loved it then and love it now.

  • When I first saw this when it came out. I thought they ripped Marilyn Manson. in 1998,.

  • @kakumei77 This was released in 97.

  • @iLiveMusic90 This was recorded in late 1996.

  • @TheHal20062b It doesnt matter....the singe was released in July of 97 therefore they couldnt rip off of something Manson did in 98...that was point.

  • sooooooooo ahead of its time this video...so avant gard

  • I remember when the video for Rihanna's "Disturbia" came out and I immediately thought of this video.

  • Love the song but this video creeps the hell out of me.

  • i love this song and video!

  • I love En Vogue, these girls had so much range, talent and their videos everyone of there videos where so different and beautiful, creative as with their talents. They were so original and perfectly matched as a quartet. Each sister could sing solo, they danced, and harmonized so perfectly. They are truely like sisters and got along so well on and off camera which was another reason for their success and that they appealed to so many.

  • @ginlover92545 that's because they all can sing vs now where no one can w/o tracks.

  • Forget lady gaga. This is cooler by MILES!

  • Wow, this video looks like it was made this year or something. Its quite futuristic for when it was made.

  • Talented

  • Apart from they're quality sound these girls are by far the sexiest on the planet

    Hot like fire

  • Apart from their great sound these girls are the sexiest.... Hot like fire

  • Video rips off this: yougotgoodtaste.wordpress[dotcom]/2009/02/12/the-clinic/

No shit - was proved in a court of law.

  • The video director got sued for this for ripping off a Sean Ellis fashion shoot in The Face which came out a month earlier

  • Ooh, I likey dis video

  • It sucks that after Dawn left things were never the same for them. I still love this song and the video reminds me of a Johnny Depp movie. This song is so underrated

  • I love this song & video . It's so creative and has a lot of wild imagination added to it . It's something I wish to see and today's music videos .

  • Reminds me of some of Dir en Grey's creepier vids. So cool to see this.

  • I forgot how hot this song was.

  • wow, i completely forgot about this video. I havent seen this video or heard this song in years. Great song and video. like someone said before, thank you for posting this vid. really takes me back.

  • This looks like videos today...that kind of dark look....EV was WAY ahead of their time with this one!!!

  • Thanks for posting this! I haven't seen it in at LEAST 12 years.

  • They WENT IN for this video!!!!! They are/were an awesome female singing group. Beauty, class, style, grace, and power house vocals. Simply amazing!

  • is one of the background ladies Cousin Pam from The Cosby Show??? =D

  • This video use to scare me when I was younger but I love it & the song !

  • what was cool on EV is there was NO SOLO LEAD SINGER...EVERYONE had an equal vocal range spot light...

  • i get the meaning of the video and song!!!

  • @TenshiTamagoKidd15 rly, cuz i don't! what is it?

  • @rubberrand142 ok this is gonna be kinda long i think. well ok u see how cindy is with the face thing? it means shes getting a face lift to make her man happy shes saying shes going crazy because she wants to make him happy. they all are getting skin dye boobs done etc etc they are doing "WHATEVER" the man wants them to do so that it makes him happy. get it?

  • @TenshiTamagoKidd15 I don't see nothing of the skin dying, can you point it out t me?

  • @bisexualism 2:56 they look light bcuz the green stuff is so poses to be whiting their skin

  • love the whole scary like hospital theme love love love it!!!

btw which members were in the group in this mV?

  • @TenshiTamagoKidd15

    Terry, Cindy, Max

Dawn had left by this album

But this summer all four were in concert. And still banging

  • @TenshiTamagoKidd15 Maxine, Cindy and Terry are in this video.

  • love the whole scary like hospital theme love love love it!!!

  • I love this video...We can see were gaga gets some of it from

  • BABYFACE CAME HARD OUT OF THE BOX WITH THIS BEAT .......!!!!!!

  • for love, would you replace your head and some limbs?

  • Wow...outta nowhere, this song popped into my head and I had to hear it. :)

  • This video is sooo unique :)

  • THANK YOU LORD THAT A GROUP CALLED EN VOGUE EVER EXISTED!! AMEN!!

  • Sucha great song

So underrated and these ladies know how to do it. The video just amazing. These ladies had class and style and u can see the influence in today's sounds and videos

  • this song really did make me feel like i was bein watch this song is like all those weird vids that people TRIED 2 but En Vogue does everythin better then those "other' people

  • musicindustry please remember: buying music pieces is a gift from the people to you. they do that to support the musicians and your company. they does not need to buy anything to get a musicpiece and I think the people will not do that if they are in conflicts with you , which was caused by yourself al_goo123gle_one.

  • ENVOGUE VERY HAUTE COUTRE!!!!

  • My all time favorite track and video by these women! They need to come back and put another cd out and show these so called artists how it's really done!

  • @greywolfone1

I think they did got back together, and Dawn joined the group again. They'll come out with an album soon.

  • En Vogue were trendsetters in making R&B edgy and avant garde. You can totally see elements of what Rhianna, Lady Gaga and Beyonce have done since in this video.

  • THESE WOMEN WERE THE EPITOME OF COUTURE N AVANTE GARDE IN FASHION.

  • good song but the remix is even better

  • @jbreezy103 i never knew there was a remix...whre can i find it???

  • another babyface gem

  • I love this song its still a classic. The video is a classic to. This is so different I like it and I think Rihanna did try to bite this video a bit.

  • best video i ever seen..well done and show these "singers" of today what true talent is

  • OMG!I forgot how great this song and video are!

    Avanguard!

  • One thing about En Vogue is that they set the standard for originality - not only in taking chances on the types of music they recorded, but taking a stand on political aspects of life. I have to give it to them on creativity in their vids, they had some of the very best videos of any girl group. Even on their serious material the video's where colorful, beautiful, freakishly wild, like this one, but they where always enjoyable to watch. Miss U En Vogue, hurry up with the new cd.

  • i think this video was the start of the GaGa craziness...love it!

  • @BWV1906 LOL...you think so? I love how different it is and don't forget Rihanna "disturbia" video almost similar to En Vogue in a way.

  • @BWV1906 haha but they could SANG with LYRICAL MEANING :D

  • Wow. I haven't heard this song or seen this music video in years. Interesting commmentary on cosmetic procedures, the Euro-standard of beauty, and how Frankenstein the whole concept is, really. I remember as a kid loving their crazy hair, lol. Love the lighting, as well.

  • I love this song and the the looks of these women rock!!!!

  • i still love this song. you can still hear dawn's voice on the song.

  • show

  • Matthew Rolston is my hero....

  • this was my jam!

  • Damm 1997 it feels like i saw it a week ago on MTV

Very very good Times that was R & B People not the Junk you got Today

  • @Zappafan1980 man, dont mention '97'... one of the best summers with all of the hot jams.

  • This shit was Repo:Genetic Opera before Repo ever was thought of. :p

    *CL*

  • This video takes me way back! i loved this song, i bought the single i remember. too bad they dissapeared.. i also liked Dont let go

  • sick

  • great video...kinda creepy

  • @jmass04 among other things, The Pointer SIsters are a grammy award winning, star on the hollywood walk of fame having girl group that have been in the biz for 30+ years. Their music has crossed pop, r&b, new wave and even country, not mention dance. Thier music has been featured in movies and now even video games (grand theft auto-vice city) , they were the FIRST black female group to perform in the Grand Ole Opry and to this day they are still going strong, performing to sold out concerts.

  • En Vogue is a talented group and has their place but You can't skip over those who have come BEFORE them and their achievements just because you like En Vogue lol. I'm just saying.

  • @MercuryX Just like the video says, "Whatever".....

  • @jmass04 oh that was so witty LOL.NEXT====>

  • This is a very creative video. Love the goth look.

  • I'm mixed and have been listening to Rock since I was in the 2nd grade. I had NO interest in what women were doing in the R&B world until I saw this music video. These chicks pushed past the cliche and I wish a chick group would come around and do it again. Maybe even cross the lines (like weezy only without an epic fail) Oh and Fifi dobson doesn't count!

  • um...did you ever hear of a group called the POINTER SISTERS? they were breaking molds before En Vogue were even out of diapers! and they have longevity , something En Vogue lacks.

  • @MercuryX so not true. yes, the pointer sistas are great, but en vogue is 20 years+ at this point. ev introduced a brand new life to girl groups and birthed some of the most successful overall in te biz--not the pointer sisters. that is fact!

  • man these ladies can singlove 'em.

  • Love this video so much.

  • There is nothing about this video that says "satan" to me. I always thought it was to portray being so in love with someone that it drives you crazy. They are in an asylum. So carzy in love. LOL. They even have a song called "Love You Crazy."

  • @sgprei

And what about the checkered floor?

  • uuuum yeah so how about we go back to talking about how great music artist they were....seeing random negative comments on great music videos ticks me off a bit. I love Envogue....this is great music that there is not alot of anymore and should be ENJOYED

  • @arieskub3275 No you are..possessed mindless experiment. You and these devilworshippers can go to hell. Go slap your mother for raising a idol worshipper

  • Bitch, stop crying and go on another video with that mess. We don't care about what the hell you say. En Vogue was never a satanic group.

  • lol speaking of IDOL WORSHIP...what retard shit eater dedicates a PAGE to a dead fairy tale..aaliyah was a demonic puppet and your bloodline is mixed with sheep and monkey. Bitch

  • @ih8pyramids Umm,bitch, keep it cute. Now, don't start bringing up other mess, this is about En Vogue.

Now,get a life and maybe even a job.

  • @ih8pyramids And hoe, don't try and come for Aaliyah. She actually had a LIFE.

  • Go shove a stick up your ass.

  • @ ih8pyramids LOL yeah I am the mindless one. Ok your religion cracks me up DONT JUDGE LEST THEE BE JUDGED remember that quote from the bible ????? What did you think some one who is pagan doesnt know a verse from the bible ???? Give me a break get a grip En Vogue never was and never will be satanic they are god worshipping women learn your facts before you go pointing fingers moron.

  • This video is not about Satan or rituals. It's about the desperate lengths a woman will go thru to get a man. Plastic surgery being one of them. Near the end she's standing in front of a mirror and her reflection vanishes. Does that mean she's a vampire now? No. It means she's trying to hard to get the man she wants she's lost herself. I'm a Jesus-freak myself, this song is not about any kind of devil worship.

  • 90's videos are amazing

  • just shows how unoriginal lady gaga is

  • Watching videos like this reminds me that there's always a precedent for what music artists are doing today. Beyonce and Rihanna are not the first black female singers to have eccentric taste in clothes.

  • the best video ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This remains me of House of WAX

  • It reminds me of the movie SAW!

  • This brings back so much memories, love the video

  • One of the most creative and artistic video from En Vogue!!!!!

  • DIS KINDA SCARY

  • One of my favorite videos of all times. One of the best groups of all times.

  • they will always be one of the true rnb groups of all time and i cant wait till the next cd

  • this is my fave...

  • this was a totally different look for these ladies...much different from how they are usually. i love that they were not afraid to take risk. this video is still very much in style today...much like all of their videos!!

  • one of my fav vids of all time!!! groups don't harmonize like this anymore. i so miss music like this...

  • max look like kalis..nas ex wife... in this video!

  • i thought the same thing.

  • their new single has to feature max and dawn....seriuosly ...and with a swift follow up with cindy and terry!

  • love these ladies fools have followed

  • :( this is one of my favorite music videos of all time! I want it high quality!

  • Great, innovative video-creepy AND fashionable! :) They really just need to make a '90s video channel so we can watch REAL music videos like this, not just a group's live performance on a stage set to the album track, which seems to be the popular style lately.

  • their videos were groundbreaking

  • It's a shame that the girl groups of the 90's could stay together, cuz they were the best!

  • when i was 10 i had this single tape and played it out!

i still love this song and the video was so awesome

  • The best female group of all time. They have always been my favorite. Love Maxine !!!!

  • BOMB VIDEO

    love these grrls

  • I'm glad they started out as women and not girls like too many of the girl groups in the past. I'm also glad no one on here made their own version of the song. A person who does that is either really naive or just plain stupid. Someone singing the song and having it recorded, then putting it on youtube is not cool. It's annoying! nobody wants to hear a 13 yearold girl sing one of the greatests songs of the 90's badly.

  • I luv the bridge in the song (I maybe a fool....)!!!!!!

  • Delicious song and video.

  • ENVOGUE'S BEST VIDEO HANDS DOWN!

  • Damn i love their makeup and their hair and the video itself.....beyonce isnt even close.

  • Thank you so much! I love this song, particularly this version-- I can't find it anywhere!

    En Vogue is classic.

  • Terry still looks good, even with that cage thing on her head!!! lol. That's how FINE En Vogue is. They can wear something totally out of their element and something that looks creepy and still look sexy. And Max is sexy, but creepy with that mirror when her reflection disappears. And the hottest part, is when they are hangin from the wires during the "bom bom bom" part close to the end.

  • at the beginig cindy looks like shes trying to strangle herself

  • da song is the shit! video is freakin weird tho...LOL

  • OMG, love the song, video, group, and time period. The 90's were filled with talented people.

  • check out my 90's throwback video....

  • Except for madonna, she was never talented to begin with.

  • this is such an underrated modern classic

  • You need to learn how to type like an intelligent person so maybe you should get off of youtube instead?

  • Rihanna tried to look as good as them in her video "Disturbia," but EnVogue looked & did it better.

  • i feel u on that i dun think rihannas tryin to BE like anyone...but i do agree on the video of disturbia and this..as well as imagination by tamia...put them 2gether n u got disturbia

  • @temoc76 Of course they did.

  • @temoc76 i'm not sure Rihanna is even old enough to remember this video

  • @dootiehole She was born the year after me. I loved this song when I was younger. So it's possible. Not to mention she could have youtubed it lol.

  • @dootiehole She was nine or ten... So...unless she was living under a rock... she was aware

  • @temoc76 Preach it. And they should have got credit for it. En Vogue & her can't even be put in the same league. I miss them!

  • I LOVE their HAIR!
