It just doesn't make any sense though. What time period does this take place in? If this took place before raccoon city blew up, then how do you explain the events that happened in Resident evil 3? Didn't Jill escape by herself in 3 right before raccoon city blew up? If so then this story wouldn't make any sense because RE5 says that Wesker used Jill as a test subject straight after the event where

Heh, I'm not so sure either but, I think I would know if I had played the previous RE Games. I've only played REmake, RE4/RE5 and a bit of RE0

Well I mean, even if you've only played REmake, you might be thinking that if the event that Jill fell down the mansion with Wesker took place, all the endings of RE1 wouldn't make any sense. They only go inside the Spencer Estate once I think because most of the endings of RE1 involve the mansion blowing up. The only game in which you revisit the mansion is RE0 which takes place before that time (correct me if I'm wrong on this one).

Sorry, but are you trying to say that This mansion is the same as the REmake one? They're both completely different mansions, Spencer owns a numerous amount.

You see, for some reason, instead of being creative, using different architectural styles and designs for his mansions, Spencer sticks with the one for the first game for some reason.

This is NOT the same mansion from RE1 (1998) in Raccoon City, this is one of Spencer's mansions in Europe, which they visited in 2006 I believe. Spencer just likes to toss away his money on mansions that use the same design. I don't know about anyone else, but if I was filthy stinking rich, I'd want to mix it up.

I see...Yea I got really confused when they walked in the same mansion and they said "Kinda takes you back doesn't it, Raccoon City...", and I didn't know that Spencer was still alive. Then again I usually rush through all the data files whenever I play resident evil games. I haven't played all of them by the way. Still haven't played 2 and Code Veronica.

Unfortunately i don't see how they can make a game out of this :/ Unless they do something lame like have Ozwell have zombie or Las Plagas infected guards, and that would suck. So I have no idea what this game will be like, unless it's just a puzzle game with atmosphere, meh... Seems pretty pointless...

....well, the Plagas aren't there because Chris hadn't encountered them until Kijuju. But besides that, Spencer had the UBCS, Cleaners, and probably a ton of Tyrants and Hunters and other controllable B.O.W.s he could have patrolling his Estate.

I think it'd be awesome if we had to fight some normal, uninfected guards, but I doubt that Capcom will do all that. =/ I mean come one, all of Wesker's guards were infected with Las Plagas? Seems lame.

More likely we'll just have to dodge traps and fight, as somebody else said, controllable BOWs, although I would like to see Hunters/Mr. X tyrants, maybe even advanced ones.

oh the memories... the creepy mansion.. my two fave characters, THE CRANKS LOL.. and 2 top it all off the Moonlight Sonata playing in the background... i just love nostalgia. considering the what-the-fuckery the series has turned to since RE4, i don't have high hopes for this. i'm just hoping for the love that is all goo and holy that it is mostly HORROR.. hell, that's what made the RE series so good. don't get me wrong though.. 4&5 were good and very fun games-just crappy Resident Evil games

The Alternative Edition is coming to PS3. But the extra content excluding motion control is coming to the 360 version, most likely as DLC. Gotta love it!

Some awesome looking exclusives/re-releases I only want for PS3 are Metal Gear Solid 4, Valkyria Chronicles, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Tales of Vesperia PS3 (If it is released in the states), and perhaps this for motion control. However if I decide not to get it (since I am more than likely getting the 360 version) I will get the extra content on Xbox Live.

For the PS3 it is a new... well a rerelease of a game with more content. The Resident Evil 5 on the 360 will most likely get the extra content (excluding motion control) in the form of downloadable content.
