  • Can this be made a few hours ahead of time then cooked?

  • @TheMetrainer8

Yes! Keep them in the fridge and pop them in the oven. If you have left overs you can freeze them too! Just keep them 3 more minutes in the oven and you should be fine. ;-)

  • @repolhow Thank you so much for your timely reply. My brother and his family are coming over tomorrow for a BBQ (we live in the Middle East so it's hot here!) and i wanted to make this for dessert. PERFECT! :)

  • @ 1:02 wouldn't tempering the eggs be a better idea than mixing them in and crossing your fingers and hoping that they don't turn to scrambled eggs? Is there a specific reason for having to add the eggs in like that? Also how come you didnt cream the eggs and sugar togehter?

  • @mishyprizes

Hi! You can temper them but since the mixture won't be very hot at this point you can just pour them in and whisk it well.

As for combining eggs and sugar before adding it to the recipe, I used to do that but didn't see any difference from doing it how separately. It's your choice! ;-)

  • shouldn't I use unsalted butter instead of the normal butter.I say because you did not mention whether you used salted or unsalted.I hope you reply fast I have to make this for someone's birthday tonight

  • @sushantmmehta

Sorry it took me so long. If you use unsalted butter make sure to add a dash of salt before putting the mixture in the ramekins. I always use salted butter (its what I have here at home) and they taste great!

  • Oh my god...thank you so very much for your help. You are incredible! The fondants came out perfectly. Maybe you should have your own TV show or something. Great work. ^ ^

  • Can i put the mix in a cake pan or cake cases cos i dnt have those tins

  • can i use cooking chocolate??

  • i dont want to use eggs tell me some other substitute please

  • @sonaliloveable I have heard of some products which are basically pasturised eggs. They are stored like juice basically in cartons.

If you want to avoid eggs because of health risks then do that. I have seen it in some other cooking videos here on yt.

  • Very nice oven

  • well hi..i dnt hv oven..i hv to make it in microwave..so tell fr hw long i shud keep it in microwave???

  • @repolhow They turned out great actually. I think what I did wrong was let the choclate cool for too long and it got thick.

  • :d

  • Somehow my batter became whipped in texture. Yours seems runny. Did I mess up? Or am I ok?

  • @Dhoketa

its hard to say. how did they turned out?

  • could I use cocoa powder instead of dark chocolate?

  • HOLY SHIT THATS FUCKING HOT~!!!!!!!!!!

  • i'm gona make this next time it's valentines day :)

  • love ur oven

  • can i use cupcake pan instead of ramekins?

  • @NubianBarbie91

Sure thing! Just keep an eye on the cakes, they'll probably bake a lot faster. Take them out of the oven when you see that the tops are firm.

Let us know how it turned out! :-)

  • i like the way you did the video and cake :)

  • Thaaaanx A Lot 2 U This is the best and the easiest recipe I've ever tried ... Very grateful 4 U : )

  • I tried the recipe but the whole cake was hard..what happened?anyway do u use plain flour or self-raising flour?

  • @ZeRaXiuN Plain Flour.

Sorry to hear that! I think you over baked them. Next time you try the recipe check on them every three minutes. The cakes are done when the top is almost cracking. good luck! =)

  • @ZeRaXiuN use glass ramikins, i try it with 2 ways. i use cupcakes ramikins n its harder in the middle, but not with the glass one,its molten n melt out when u cut it, taste good.(sorry for my chaos english, i try my best) lol

  • Awesome I love it I'm eating it right now ^-^

  • it looks delicious !

thanx for this well made video with nice music background :)

if it is no available at this time a dark chocolate cubes , can i use cocoa powder ?

  • @AboJahl1

    Thanks for your comment!

Sadly, you can not substitute the chocolate for cocoa powder.

Go get yourself a bar tho, its very much worth it! ;-)

More videos are coming up, keep in touch!

  • Wow that looks delicious! Can you substitute dark for milk chocolate? Or will that just screw up the balance.

    Really well made video too!

  • @jpol01

    Hi!

Glad to know you liked the video!

Its best to use dark cholocolate to bring depth to the recipe. 70% Cocoa is what I'd recomend.

If you cant find it, just use regular semi-sweet chocolate and substitute the two spoons of water for two spoons of coffee.

Let us know how it turns out!

  • @repolhow

    Ahh k

Yeah I'm no Betty Crocker, I still burn my toast every time.

Unfortunately I have no spare time on my hands these days. But maybe one day.

    Your video deserves more views!
