Here's another thing. Only counting televised one-on-one matches, the Ultimate Warrior lost a combined THREE matches in WWE and WCW. He lost to Rude, Sgt. Slaughter, and Hogan. In other words, Warrior's record is even MORE impressive than Goldberg's. Warrior vs. Goldberg in their primes would have been something to see.

Nowadays the entertainment is more like kiddy singers. How do you expect a boy to grow up to be a man with kiddie entertainers? We looked up to men and warriors when we were kids.

We also had Commodore 64, Spectrum,Amstard, Master system, nes and other quality 8bit machines - and lastly a very good UK top 40 with bruno.

@SuperWarking He's trying to say that every day his fans give him incentive and encouragement to perform well...but this occasion is made special because it is a large event called "Survivor Series". He feels that this event is going to be extremely competitive, combative and can be likened to two or more nations engaging in hostilities with one another.
He actually said "Thanks are given everyday but especially this day...". The "thanks" was referring to Thanksgiving since SS was always held either on Thanksgiving eve (which I believe was the case in 1989 in this video) or Thanksgiving itself (SS'90 took place on the actual day). He was the final wrestler out of many in the roster prior to the Survivor Series event to say what they're thankful for. I liked it a lot, but this was the only Survivor Series they did it for.

I loved it. All the wrestling organizations were great back then. The only ones I watch now are the Japanese organizations (when I can), TNA, ROH, and NWA Anarchy (I can hardly get access to the latter 2). The simplicity of the old days was great though. Now even TNA has all those storylines that I don't really care for. I'd rather see them wrestle & give the occasional short interview/comments like they used to. Also there are too many PPVs these days (SNME & WCW's CoC were great)
@wtcvidman..Yeah, WWF&NWA in the 80s...WCW in the 90s...and then it all went to shit. ECW was pretty cool too. And yeah, I agree with you about your current likes. I think TNA is hands down better than WWE...WWE is sometimes completely unwatchable. Where can you watch NWA Anarchy? ROH only on PPV. But yeah, there are so many PPVs that they've lost their specialness. Back then, 4 a year...one a season. They meant something back then. Now, they're just exaggerated TV shows. Oh, the memories
I usually try to catch older episodes of Anarchy as they're put up on the website. I know a station in Philly used to show Wildside (one of my favorite organizations) before it turned into Anarchy & found out that the station was one of the local stations you could get with the Dish Network Philly local channels package. I don't know if they show Anarchy these days. Wildside was on in my area (NYC) in 2001 & I quickly grew into it. The Lost Boys, AJ Styles, Jason Cross were awesome

@SuperWarking He's trying to say that every day his fans give him incentive and encouragement to perform well...but this occasion is made special because it is a large event called "Survivor Series". He feels that this event is going to be extremely competitive, combative and can be likened to two or more nations engaging in hostilities with one another.

He actually said "Thanks are given everyday but especially this day...". The "thanks" was referring to Thanksgiving since SS was always held either on Thanksgiving eve (which I believe was the case in 1989 in this video) or Thanksgiving itself (SS'90 took place on the actual day). He was the final wrestler out of many in the roster prior to the Survivor Series event to say what they're thankful for. I liked it a lot, but this was the only Survivor Series they did it for.

I loved it. All the wrestling organizations were great back then. The only ones I watch now are the Japanese organizations (when I can), TNA, ROH, and NWA Anarchy (I can hardly get access to the latter 2). The simplicity of the old days was great though. Now even TNA has all those storylines that I don't really care for. I'd rather see them wrestle & give the occasional short interview/comments like they used to. Also there are too many PPVs these days (SNME & WCW's CoC were great)

@wtcvidman..Yeah, WWF&NWA in the 80s...WCW in the 90s...and then it all went to shit. ECW was pretty cool too. And yeah, I agree with you about your current likes. I think TNA is hands down better than WWE...WWE is sometimes completely unwatchable. Where can you watch NWA Anarchy? ROH only on PPV. But yeah, there are so many PPVs that they've lost their specialness. Back then, 4 a year...one a season. They meant something back then. Now, they're just exaggerated TV shows. Oh, the memories

I usually try to catch older episodes of Anarchy as they're put up on the website. I know a station in Philly used to show Wildside (one of my favorite organizations) before it turned into Anarchy & found out that the station was one of the local stations you could get with the Dish Network Philly local channels package. I don't know if they show Anarchy these days. Wildside was on in my area (NYC) in 2001 & I quickly grew into it. The Lost Boys, AJ Styles, Jason Cross were awesome

All the Warrior haters clearly weren't around during his prime or are too young to remember because EVERYONE"S favorite wrestler around 1990-91 was Warrior.
