That is NOT the original Paul McCartney. The voice does NOT match the voice of the real Paul from the beginning of the band. Not at all. And the accent is entirely different than a Liverpool accent. I bet if the facial features of that one and the original were compared there would be great differences, just as with Saddam and his many doubles.

I covered my eyes for a few of them and I couldn't make out what it was saying, when I saw the words then it seemed the make sense. I can't help feeling that even if the text was "Happy meal with a coke" then our brain would make the connection.

I don't think this is nonsense, in the mind of the hearer, at all. When they're telling the truth, it comes out in reverse. When they're thinking something they aren't saying, it comes out. When they're lying, it comes out in reverse. I don't see how you can miss it.

The fact that it's all in the mind of the listener is obvious when you show the same sentence to different people. Everybody hears something different. Especially if they don't know anything about who said the original sentence (for example if they don't know the person is a murderer they aren't likely to hear anything related to murder). It's beyond silly.

I was playing with this technology and decided to try using synthesized voice; a voice with no-subconscious. So I typed in words from a book and made sound a file (I used verbose). These too produced words and sentences in backward speech. Maybe we just hear what we want to.

Agreed. If you dont read the words then the reverse speech is heard as nothing but inaudible noise but if you read the text then your brain kind of encourages you to match the sounds to the words.

that is exactly whats happening, its a sort of suggestion. saying in this recording " you WILL hear" is planting a suggestion while at the same time the human brain tries to make sense of the gibberish. what happens is the unicorn in the clouds effect. or in other terms, your brain makes out words that arent really there.
