MGR & TMS!!!, Wow, What a combination!!! I think TMS could have made it without MGR but I don't think MGR could have made it without TMS. I have listened to old MGR songs before TMS and those playback singers' voices do not match MGR at all. Their singing voices make MGR sound tinny and unimpressive. TMS is the most under rated artist in Indian film industry. TMS already has the Padma Shri which is great but he should also be awared the Bharat Ratna. It is India's highest civilian award.

A great actor for style and romantic appeal. However, he should have stopped acting in the early 1970s after Ulagam Suttrum Vaaliban in order that people will only remember him at his best. Just like Sivaji should have stopped acting since early 1990s.
