  • Herrlich ... ich mag sexy Turner.

So darfst du häufiger rumlafen Nils!

Die Vögelchen im Hintergrund wirken auch sehr idyllisch ...

Und wenn das nicht in die neue Show eingebaut wird bin ich auch ziemlich traurig!

  • You crazy, crazy girl! :)

Ja, vielleicht kommts mit in die neue show, mal sehen. XD

  • Omgg! ANd u say your not good. Tahst crazyy bro.

  • Why all that?

Well for me the biggest problem was, that i wasn't focusing on where my weight was and which countermovements i had to do.

I just tried it over and over. i had a looot of concepts about legs and hands positions and weightshifting in mind.

So i was unable to focus and learn what just happend in my onehandstand.

Suddenly i figured out, that these quiet-phases in a song really made me concentrate on this moment. On these 3-4 seconds.

Well and for me it was a great help.

  • You take a song which you know pretty good.

Maybe with a nice beat. The clue is that it must be a song with a little "quiet-phase" in.

So its maybe like fat-beats-hard-rock-whatever --> 4 seconds quiet phase --> and back to the beats.

Now while the hardcore sound is playing you get ready. Focus. Concentrate. About 10-15 seconds before the quiet-phase starts you go into Handstand and take your time to go into yout 1hand+2finger-position.

And when the qiuet-phase starts you try to hold 1hand.

  • Well holding that position for 20 secs is not bad. You should now start slowly to take these fingers off the ground. But slow. Remember every quick movement is basically bad when youre standing on one hand :-)

And yes, in my video i do many "quick" movements. The last monts i got much better and ill hope that i can upload something new soon.

Hm... well heres a method i think is quite useful for making faster progress. (Hehe, its a little bit "unusual" but who cares) Alright, here it is:

  • Looking good man, mostly you need to get beter at locking or squeezing your core and legs. Another tip is the slower you make adjustments the longer you stay up

  • Thank you. I'll definitely keep that in mind!

  • hey man your AWESOME .. ur at a position where i would dream about being . im 13 and been training handstands for bout 9 mths now and can hold a 2 handstand without moving for likr 53 secs and records like a min.. im having real trouble with this move.. how long does it usualy take to learn this?

  • Weeh, it takes a long, long time.

Some tips that i hope will help a little:

For about 4 months i got up at 6:20 am (before work), did a little warmup and did a 40minutes one-handstand-session.

This is what i learned in these months:

This way is way too uneffective, because your wrist cant take such a long training session.

    Now i recomend:

Train all the day. But always just 3 - 4 OHS-tries in a row. Than give your wrist a break. This way is pretty funny i think and i made good progress.

  • For example: The last hour of my day: 3 times one handed handstand -> start PC-game, load game, while loading: -> 2 times one handed handstand -> Back to PC, play game, every 5-10 minutes: -> 2 times one handed handstand.... and so on... You get the idea? When your at your sportsclub/whatever it is you can practice more. Thats okay. But at home, keep it easy for your wrist. Also remember: Concentrate!!! Where is you balance? What was wrong? Watch Videos. Look for tipps! AND DONT GIVE UP!
  • Oh and by the way:

13 is a pretty nice age to start that thing!

Looking forward to see you balancing in some years! :D

    Good luck!

  • thanks a lot dude the example you said about the pc game loading and that is what i've been doing with handbalance moves back 5 mths ago when i was learning like pike press and elephant lifts so i'll go back to that. and what do you mean

'When your at your sportsclub/whatever it is you can practice more. Thats okay. But at home, keep it easy for your wrist.' i dnt go like gymnastics and that just like selftaught sort of thing to pass time at night :P

  • "to pass time at night :P " lol :D

Well i just wanted to say that its good to do a 30 - 40 minutes handstand-session. But not every day. Maybe three times a week.

The most days of the week you should not do too much, but still do something. (PC-gaming-training)

I think the most improtant thing is that you always concentrate as much as you can.

When i think about something else while doing OHS i always get balance problems :-)

Keep it up and maybe post a video later. :-)

  • no worry man ,,put more video of ur progress we will try to help,,me i have train balance for 2 years n my record is 21 seconds now ,,i can do 14,15 second each time,,,,try to work out side abds too,,for the ribs muscle very important ,,,to do like bboy darkness balance

  • Thanks man! Im so happy, that i get so much support here! I'll upload a new vid soon.

  • yo u have to lean ur body more sideway with two hand on the ground,,,try to lower ur leg the maximum,,,this will work out ur ribs muscle a lot ,,which help a lot for the one hand stand..becoz in this video u r using more balance than power..hope i ve help a little

  • Thanks! I will definitely try that!!

  • hey..

how do u train for strength and balance??

  • Step one:

Train two handed handstand until you can hold it without walking (!) on your hands to get your balance back. U should be able to hold it for about a minute.

    (Training for your wrists)

    Step two:

Change you weight slowly (!!!) on one hand. The other hand touches the ground with the fingertips.

(Hardcore for your wrist. Dont overdo it. The Fingertip-hand helps you to hold you balance a lil better. But try to keep you balance only with the hand on the ground)

  • Step three:

Same as step two, but you just use one finger instead of all your findertips.

(Now you need to balance mainly with the hand on the ground)

    And step four:

Slowly (!!!!!) lift the last finger off the ground.

    Alright!

Try to get a good feeling in ALL these positions. Dont skip anything. It definitely costs some time. And thats okay.

  • Some additional tips:

    - For you balance hand: Dont put it extremely flat on the ground. The middle part of you hand shouldnt touch the ground. At least not much.

    - Try to keep your body straight. (I also need to learn this more)

    - Dont use walls for "strengh-training". Balance is the problem and the strengh will come with your balance training.

    - Continue. Never give up!

    Good luck!

  • thx for de tips man...keep up de gud work!!

  • you're there man,just keep going,great balance :)

  • Sick man real dope work! I've subscribed :)

  • Thanks a lot. :-)

Reading all these comments is a great help.

I will so get this move, even if it costs me a thousand years of training. Can't leave this world until i get this one :D

  • first of all....

    thx for supporting my vid!

    thats dope.....

the only thing now is strength.....

strength come with patients so dont give up!

    excid reppin BIX crew

  • Thanks very much. ;-)

  • Try not to let your torso be so loose. Same goes for your legs. Hold your form. Its better to fall with good form than to stay up an extra second or two and be sloppy... Good work though! keep at it.
