how do you change the color of the swordsman's uniforms? like i edit them and give them all chain mail, but when i play, it just colors over the chain mail and gives it a default red and white.

@srry4beatinu Hi, some are available on stronghold 2 heaven or stronghold-knights but most are not available. I am doing a Roman Mod, which will soon be available. As for a Renaissance Mod, it would be possible but gun units wouldn't be very creative; just a bunch of Crossbowmen who have instead of crossbows a short sword or somethign that has a gun skin on it.

@RGInquisitor kinda both, gamecam n' stronghold aren't exactly the best combination, but most computers could prolly run it high quality without lag i have a windows vista home basic and mine runs just fine, but also when ur tht close it has some trouble

Yeah but that's no excuse as to how the game gets laggy because WAY before I had the alienware my dad bought me, I used to run it on a compaq presario, with windows vista home premium with a NVidia GEForce 6150SE nForce 430, with 1.6 GB or RAM and a AMD athlon 64 X2 dual-core 4200+ and it could run it fine, high settings and I I filled the map with units there was no sign of any lag

Last I checked...like...the Knights of Gondor didn't wear red and blue surcoats and blue shields... =\ They're supposed to be black and silver. Something like that kills a mod 100%.

You must have never played Stronghold 2 then, let alone tried to mod it =\. You see, due to the hard coding that only firefly can change, it is impossible for anyone to change the red on any of the characters. It is the only way to tell apart models, this isn't Rome Total War this is Stronghold 2, and because of this unit variety and mod abilities are limited.

@dantejosephmorelli 1. I didn't make this mod, it was done by a team of people much better than I at modding. 2. There is such strong limitations with this game. This is the best anyone could do. But they did a damn good job and put in quite a Lord Of the Rings feel to a game nothing like LOtR. This video just shows off the modded units with an LOtR feel. This isn't the movie.
