Our race is the Master Race. We are divine gods on this planet. We are as different from the inferior races as they are from insects. In fact, compared to our race, other races are beasts and animals, cattle at best. Other races are considered as human excrement. Our destiny is to rule over the inferior races. Our earthly kingdom will be ruled by our leader with a rod of iron. The masses will lick our feet and serve us as our slaves."

This man didn't need to swear or use profanity in his act. He was non political, and didn't take the **** out of the audience or anyone in it. He didn't belittle any one, he wasn't racist. And he made people laugh, just by being there. THAT is comedic talent. It's a shame the swearing, vile, acerbic comedians of today can't be like this. You could argue that he belongs to a different time, but show these clips to people today, and you still hear them laughing.
this is probably my favorite movie! i read that hitler has seen this movie twice. " i would give anything to know what he thought of it" -charles chaplin
@dt6543214e I didn't think that was how it went. I mean, since the end of the silent era, this was the first movie he made, and as far as I could tell it was a big hit.
I wonder if the pilot was the inspiration for the French worm pilot in that Bass and Rankin claymation of The Easter Bunny is Coming to Town (or something like that).
Charlie Chaplin never made it to space...until now...see what would have happened if Charlie joined forces with T.Rex to make a space musical...SPACETRAMP: thee epic musical space saga...Episode 1: Space Cadet: in which our hero builds a rocket ship out of trash and travels to a distant galaxy...now available...
