it's complete rubbish. Reviewed here as "the Iphone killer" it ends up being a joke. Switching languages or feature is a complete pain if not impossible, it's slow and who cares about the apps when you see how many are available for the iphone.

actually i have this phone it is definitly the iphone KILLER mainly due to its processing speed of 633 mhz which is equal to iphone 3GS but omnia has flashplayer and is windows based so its more capatable with many things such as videos online when web browsing.. sure the iphone may have more apps but the omnia has a great community with plenty of apps that go beyond little tid bit apps that iphone has. for example you can emulate the playstation one with omnias great processor

also the video here might seem like the phone is slow with them menus and features but thats just because the default rom made for the phone is very crappy and laggy. search the custom roms on youtube you should find many omnia roms that run ridiculously smooth and fast and they look good too

@ultramarinegoat ... Don't know if it's actually an iphone killer but it's definitely a great phone. With a custom rom (M2D recommended) it can really become an iPhone killer. Only problem that it has it's that the 5 Megapixel camera is pure crap no matter what you do to it.....but it's still better than the one you have on the iPhone :) Cheers

I honestly agree I have one at the moment, the touch screen is so unresponsive and innaccurate its a joke. Slow as fuck, apps are expensive as hell and most of the apps it comes with are buggy (camera app wont let you delete photos lol)

ive had it for 1 day now, only problem seems to be that when i watch youtube, i cant use the wifi, it seems to switch to GPRS mode, which costs money. so i can surf the internet using wifi for free, but it costs for youtube? anyone else got the same issue?

hey man, yes thankfully i have resolved it, you have to go to the stream player, which is under the media section in "programs" then you go to options, and change the settings so that it loads from the wifi rather then GPRS

i also managed to unlock the phone myself by using some codes, so now i can use my old sim card on it woohoo! also i (illegally) downloaded satnav for it, so i can use it for my car journey's too. the phone and applications are amazing :D

the process is kinda different to unlock it compared to other phones, i can lock it back on to vodafone network - so no it doesnt lose its warranty. and plus if i ever have to send it back i would put my old sim card into it, so they wouldnt know that i use my other sim card

hey man, i got mine yesterday, it does have auto turn. you turn the phone and the screen switches to landscape mode. it also has ms word/excel, and a load of other stuff too. only problem is that it doesnt come with a pen to touch the screen, as it is rather hard to use with your finger

also in asia it is called the i908e not the i900 omnia

by the ways I suggest you to buy a "water product" which means it was not taxed when brought through the sea gate

Omnia has more batt compare to HTC and Iphone.Omnia same capacity as iphone for mp3. omnia touchscreen is not as good as iphone but the pda function is better then iphone. overall. i think omnia is better than iphone. iphone is juz overhyped and overmarketed.

ehh....it got either 1 8gb or 16gb for songs..omnia can text and mass send smses which iphone cant. the batt life is so much longer than iphone. that phone got wifi bluetooth and all wireless connection. so much better than iphone.
