awesome Starfire tribute! What comic series has she appeared in most recently? I've heard she teamed up with Animal Man & Lobo, fought Blackfire again, joined the Justice League, joined something called R.E.B.E.L.S...Its been hard for me to find any books that feature Starfire in a leading role and not just a background character ):

Well, I hope StarFire and Nightwing end up together, even though I like Barbara too. In Titans Tomorrow, Batwoman told StarFire that she will have a happy future with Nightwing. Plus, in Kingdom Come, StarFire has a daughter with Nightwing. So it's possible.....

The comic version is AWESOME. I adore her. She's one of my favorite comic heroines. She's got looks, brawn, and she tells it how it is. She's a tough character and definitely a powerhouse. And lest we forget to mention the wonderful chemistry between her and Nightwing adds to the package.

I don't know of any sites that have entire comics you can read online but I do know a site that posts bits and pieces of the comics. Just send me an PM and I'll give you the link.
The comics are always better than the shows because the shows tend to change things in order to fit their mold. The comics are the original incarnations so we get to see the characters in the elements they belong in.
You kinda expected that to happen though, especially since the show was put on during a time that kids were still up. And scantily clad alien sex symbol is probably something parents don't want their kids to see.
I understand why they changed her outfit in the animated series, but...how tough is she in the comics? O.O
I mean, in the episode where they show how the Titans met, Koriand'r was totally kickass! I remember in another episode where she fought her sister in Tamaran, and Blackfire told her as she struggled with Starfire by a wall, "Earth has changed you."
As far as comics go she's very tough. She's not afraid to use lethal force. Infact she has used lethal force. The most notable was when she killed Adelaide Wilson (Deathstroke's Wife). But that was a mercy killing. Power and ability wise I've seen her go nova. She's able to absorb the suns rays and store it in her body. She did so in a particular arc for the Outsiders and practically lets loose a maelstrom of energy that was reminiscent of a star when it goes super nova.
I remember in the first episode, where Kory screamed & burst open the door of her cell, then she beat up the gaurds and escaped to the nearest planet. Arriving at Earth, she caused destruction and fought Robin!
I can't believe right after that (when they formed the Teen Titans), she went soft!
Thanks. I think I'm as perplexed as you. She's an interesting character. A warrior, a princess, and someone whose had nothing but heartache for most of her life. I guess people need to be schooled. Hehe. As for the picture at 1:10 that's from "52".

Thank you very much. I have to be honest, I feel it's not really so worthy of the awesomness of Kory because of lack of skill but it was nice to do. So many people love Animated Kory but I don't see a lot of love for the original comic incarnation, and that's ashame. I had to do something for her. Thank you for the kind comments. Maybe next time I'll do one much better. :)
I have Windows Movie Maker, the latest one that came with the Vista operating system.
It's nice to see another Starfire fan. Sometimes it feels like we're far and few between, which is ashame. She's such a kickass character, where the hellz is the orange alien love, I tellz ya? xD
Would you believe that Red Hood and the Outlaws, the ongoing that Starfire will be in, has her no costume revealing even MORE than these pictures do!

Which is a shame that people don't try to learn about the Starfire from the comic books. They're missing out on a great character.
Here's hoping that someday she gets an ongoing, though unlikely. A nice limited series would be nice too.
