and matt leinart went 37-2 as a starter in 5 years! And those losses were against actually ranked schools. And matt leinart wasn't that great at all, you cant go by a teams record and say oh he was the best qb ever.

Because Tebow plays in the SEC! Auburn, Georgia, Ole Miss, LSU, then bowl game Michigan. If Leinhart had played in the SEC at FL and faced the same schedule, you would have probably seen more losses. The Michigan loss is a big pat on the back to Michigan. They played harder and deserved the victory. Tebow was recovering from a bad right shoulder and a broken hand and too much Heisman Celebration and too much SEC punishment from running too many times that 4 loss season. In 08 TB became the best

Ole Miss was no Cupcake and FL had a NC because of the loss and Tebow's leadership. Remember when everyone was saying about mid season how Texas Tech was the greatest? Ole Miss handed them their rear ends in the bowl game! Proves what push over Ole Miss is and the SEC. We only lost by 1...still a loss but Tebow ,the great leader, helped FL turn that loss into a National Title. I hope this answers your question.

Ole Miss had lost to Vanderbilt and Wake Forest just weeks prior to beating UF in the swamp so yes they were a bad team.

Did you see the 50 something yard FG with no time on the clock against WF that beat OLE MISS. That was great! How do you think WF or Vandy would have faired against TT who also is in the same conference as Nebraska...that produced Tommie Frazier , a QB of 14 years ago!? You are right, Nebraska totally kicked FL ass that night in 1995! Frazier was great, but then how would it have been if he were the QB for AL that year and faced Tenn, Au, Ga, Ole Miss, Miss St. and FL? Think his numbers change?

Lastly, can you name another QB, in the SEC, the best conference in CFB, or any other Conference for that matter, that has run for and thrown for 20 plus TD's in a season? No, you can't. He's the only one in history. He has 43 rushing TD's in a 3 yr career. HE SCORED 5 RUSHING TD'S IN A GAME AGAINST SOUTH CAROLINA! He has thrown 67 TD's, has a 173 passer rating and 11 interceptions in a 3 year career and 1 fumble. Wow!!!! So, who was better? He wears 2 NC rings and has a Heisman. He's for real.

Tommie Frazier was 33-3 in his career, is the only player ever to win MVP of three national championship games and lead his huskers to the most lopsided win in championship history beating UF 62-24 having 200 yards and 2 tds on the ground and 100 yards and a td through the air on the biggest stage.
Tebow is 22-5 as a starter, 1-5 when trailing in the 4th qrt, has won a heisman and has lead his team to 1 national title.

i understand that, but thats not an excuse in college basketball..teams like duke and unc are in the tournament year in and year out, even when they lose all their players to the nba, some after their freshman season.you cant go back to back in the championship and then lose in the NIT, donovan was furious, you expect your remaining underclassmen to carry the team..

2006--He succeeded on every critical drive including a 4th & 1 situation that we had to have midway through the 4th qtr.
2007: 59-20...299 yrds passing, 2 TDS passing, 2 rushing TDs
2008: The vols just swallowed to hard for us to even have to even put up a fight.
Man--he's really been a disappointment I say.
