I had a New Idea side delivery rake, and it really was a horse rake. But I sold it for a hundred bucks. It had the tongue attached directly to the rake, then in the back of the rake were two wheels fixed like caster wheels, so they swiveled as the rake turned. The tongue didn't swivel. When the tongue turned the whole rake turned.
