Would you consider this movie a vampire movie? they are aliens but bloodsuckers too and also have fangs and sharp teeth but they don't bite people they drink their blood through straws. This movie is also proof that stuff like Buck Rogers, Lifeforce, Planet of the Vampires, Not of this Earth (1957 with it's two remakes), Queen of Blood and IT The Terror from Space aren't the only things about alien vampires.
