played halo reach at my friends house. Killzone 2 has way beter graphics and was released a year earlier. Killzone 3 is coming and its going to kill halo reach. Sorry halo reach has bad graphics.

Are you guys kidding your comparing a game that recently came out to a game thats been out for some time! It's funny because Killzone 2 is older then reach and it's graphics can compete with reach's graphics. I'm not saying Killzone 2 is better then reach but it looks as good as reach just more darker.

The great thing about Reach's Campaign is that is actually has a proper selection of difficulties. On one side, Easy is actually easy. On the other, Mythic is virtually impossible. Unlike Killzone, which just gives enemies more health, on Mythic you have no checkpoints, you have to melee to recharge health, there is no HUD at all (and you can't see your gun)... you actually have to strategize, you can't just grind through like you can on Killzone.
If you actually play both games Halo Reach does have better in game graphics than Killzone 2. What I was particularly impressed with is the amout of moving particles in the explosions and the water rendering. That being said Killzone 3 will probably have slightly better graphics than Reach.
Oh, and to make sure I don't offend any fanboys, I think both games are some of the best out there.

killzone 2 has a harder gameplay and its focused on skill and strategy, thats why its probably better to play halo, which is a fun based game (really easy and action focused). on the other hand, both multiplayers are extremely awesome and probably they wont be bested by cod black ops

Never trust screenshots from a game that hasn't come out yet! Especially when it is over half a year away! I still think Killzone 2 has better graphics and still has great multiplayer and gameplay, but Halo still has some factor about it that makes it great, however overall I think the Halo games are overrated. Not saying they're bad, just way too overrated.
Oh, and on graphics department KZ2 wins easily. There's no doubt about that. Which gameplay is better depends on personal taste as both has very good gameplay, just different from each other.
None of these Halo Reach pictures are even close to being finished and this video is old you should wait until a games finished and released before you start judging why dont you compare gears of war 2 with killzone 2 kz2 would get murdered

I'm not trying to start a fight here either, but your view on Killzone 3 is obviously under-educated.
Killzone 3 will have green jungles with impressive blue lighting, arctic levels, nuclear wasteland levels, and space station levels. Killzone 2's colour pallet may have been grey - brown, but Killzone 3 will vary in colours.
As for reach, I think your trying to say you prefer Reach's style and look. Killzone has undeniably better graphics, lens effects, lighting, textures etc.
Killzone 2 has slightly superior graphics from a technical standpoint, but it's got horrible art direction. It's boring, and gray.
I prefer the " inferior " graphics of Halo that actually have life, and color. It's more vibrant, and interesting to explore the environments when they're not smudgy gray pieces of shit.
Also, it's not like there is a huge difference. Everyone saying Xbox has Wii graphics is just being a fanboy. lol

Reach looks just like Halo ODST and by that I mean it looks EXACTLY like Halo 3! Killzone 2 obviously blows it out the water and all the way into the sun, it's THAT good!
Now don't get me wrong, I LOVED the 1st Halo that totally brought SO much to the FPS genre, Halo 2 was pretty good but not as great as the 1st (but it revolutionized online), Halo 3 was when it all went downhill and ODST was A TURD! And Reach looks NO DIFFERENT.

Killzone does have better graphics, but I think Halo's graphics are more unique. I mean, look at the recent shooters that aren't in the Halo series. They all tend to look nearly the same, while Halo stands out (well, they do for me). Don't get me wrong, Killzone 2 does look really cool and I want to try it. I do think Halo has a better story, though. Sure, aliens have been overdone, but how many aliens have you seen that fight for religion? Or how about giant rings used as wildlife sanctuaries?
Altough Killzone 2 has better graphics , i still think Halo is a better game though...
Because of the fact that it has a wider range of game type and shit like forge , custom games (wich goes great with forge)...and especially the Theater mode to make outstanding Machinima's =D

True gamers don't judge a game by its graphics they judge it by its gameplay and Killzone 2 does look a lot more detailed than Halo reach but you have to cut Halo Reach some slack because of the many things Halo Reach has to give like theater and forge, Halo Reach is going to have an infinite variety of things you can do with forge plus theater and thats more than enough to keep me playing Halo Reach :)
PS3 exclusives are always going to have better graphics than 360 exclusives, there's no getting around that. The PS3 simply has better hardware. And before everyone calls me a PS3 fanboy, I don't own a PS3, I own a 360. But I know the facts and have no trouble accepting them. Games like CoD that are made for both consoles will have the same graphics on each, but with exclusives, PS3 wins. Graphics don't make a game though, so it's no big deal for me.
@bgibson36 i agree with you, the only thing that pisses me off is that 80% of multiplat games look better on 360 because they develope the game for 360 than just port it to the ps3 making it look like shit, but when it comes to exclusives ps3 wins hands down but the 360 does have some things going for it.

@yourtwistedable yea the anti aliasing can go a long way when it comes to the looks of a game, a game is like a cookie if yout think about it, the cookie could be soft on the inside but rough and crusty on the outside (the anti aliasing) then the cookie will taste bad but if the cookie is soft 100% than you will enjoy the cookie a hell of a lot more lol :D
@yourtwistedable MW2 and RE5 look better on xbox 360 not sure about BFBC2. MW2 runs smoother on the xbox360 and RE5 has missing shadows in the PS3 verson then the xbox one.

Games like Red dead redumption, Reasident evil 5 and lost planet 2 were all being made at the same time as the PS3 version and the xbox360 version just looks a tiny bit better in some areas. This is mostly due to PS3 hardware is much more complicated to work with while 360 hardware is just more easyer.

@HaloHeroHell The 360 is a graphically inferior console to the PS3. This is fact. The 360 can use 100% of its power and itll only look a CALL OF DUTY MW2 game. Nothing more. The PS3 has more power and still SONY is trying to Unlock its last SPE on the PS3's CPU. If SONY unlocks it, then thee PS3's graphical power will become 15% more powerful. Considering Naughty Dog (the people that made Uncharted 2) are working with the devs at KILLZONE 3, I would expect those graphics to be INCREDIBLE.

killzone 2 has a harder gameplay and its focused on skill and strategy, thats why its probably better to play halo, which is a fun based game (really easy and action focused). on the other hand, both multiplayers are extremely awesome and probably they wont be bested by cod black ops

Never trust screenshots from a game that hasn't come out yet! Especially when it is over half a year away! I still think Killzone 2 has better graphics and still has great multiplayer and gameplay, but Halo still has some factor about it that makes it great, however overall I think the Halo games are overrated. I'm not trying to start a fight here either, but your view on Killzone 3 is obviously under-educated.
Killzone 3 will have green jungles with impressive blue lighting, arctic levels, nuclear wasteland levels, and space station levels. Killzone 2's colour pallet may have been grey - brown, but Killzone 3 will vary in colours.
As for reach, I think your trying to say you prefer Reach's style and look. Killzone has undeniably better graphics, lens effects, lighting, textures etc.

Killzone 2 has slightly superior graphics from a technical standpoint, but it's got horrible art direction. It's boring, and gray.
I prefer the " inferior " graphics of Halo that actually have life, and color. It's more vibrant, and interesting to explore the environments when they're not smudgy gray pieces of shit.
Also, it's not like there is a huge difference. Everyone saying Xbox has Wii graphics is just being a fanboy. lol

What people have an issue with is the art-style. Reach has graphics well wihtin the bound of the 360, but still look gorgeous.

Reach looks just like Halo ODST and by that I mean it looks EXACTLY like Halo 3! Killzone 2 obviously blows it out the water and all the way into the sun, it's THAT good!
Now don't get me wrong, I LOVED the 1st Halo that totally brought SO much to the FPS genre, Halo 2 was pretty good but not as great as the 1st (but it revolutionized online), Halo 3 was when it all went downhill and ODST was A TURD! And Reach looks NO DIFFERENT.

Also, since killzone is so dark, its easier to make the game look better as to halo where so many maps and places are so colorful and brightly decorated. Killzone does have better graphics, but I think Halo's graphics are more unique. I mean, look at the recent shooters that aren't in the Halo series. They all tend to look nearly the same, while Halo stands out (well, they do for me). Don't get me wrong, Killzone 2 does look really cool and I want to try it. I do think Halo has a better story, though. Sure, aliens have been overdone, but how many aliens have you seen that fight for religion? Or how about giant rings used as wildlife sanctuaries?

PS3 exclusives are always going to have better graphics than 360 exclusives, there's no getting around that. The PS3 simply has better hardware. And before everyone calls me a PS3 fanboy, I don't own a PS3, I own a 360. But I know the facts and have no trouble accepting them. Games like CoD that are made for both consoles will have the same graphics on each, but with exclusives, PS3 wins. Graphics don't make a game though, so it's no big deal for me.

Games like Red dead redumption, Reasident evil 5 and lost planet 2 were all being made at the same time as the PS3 version and the xbox360 version just looks a tiny bit better in some areas. This is mostly due to PS3 hardware is much more complicated to work with while 360 hardware is just more easyer.

@HaloHeroHell The 360 is a graphically inferior console to the PS3. This is fact. The 360 can use 100% of its power and itll only look a CALL OF DUTY MW2 game. Nothing more. The PS3 has more power and still SONY is trying to Unlock its last SPE on the PS3's CPU. If SONY unlocks it, then thee PS3's graphical power will become 15% more powerful. Considering Naughty Dog (the people that made Uncharted 2) are working with the devs at KILLZONE 3, I would expect those graphics to be INCREDIBLE.

your'e forgetting that Halo Reach isn't finished and killzone 2 has been finished for at least a year... Killzone 3 is in full f*ing 3D!!!

@suleproductions Realy comparing a unfinished game plus almost all of them in kill zone 2 are in sharper quality because they were took after it was fully finished!!!

reaches graphics arent ps2 quality there actualy pretty good but kz2 has reeaally good graphics and if u ask me u should have compared kz3 to reach but obviously kz2 and 3 have better graphics.. for the most part anyway
i like the armor more on reach i mean not the armor it self(even if it is prettty cool) i mean how many pixels are in it and how high res it looks.anyway what i meant to say was reach isnt trying to set a visiual benchmark or whatever there just trying

@suleproductions GFYOYCWAD. Pre- Alpha Screenshots that aren't even from gameplay and are build from scratch look better than kill zone 2 by fucking far. All you fuckin KZ people are fuckin gaywads.
