  • @poosiekat Vince Gill didn't sing on Amie He wasn't old enough to be in a band then. he was probably 12 years old when that came out. He launched his career with PPL and also helped them get their only top 40 hit.

  • The only song involving Vince Gill worth listening to other than "don't let our love start slippin' away" and "Amie"... also with p.p.l. :) just sayin'

  • I find it ironic how when Vince Gill joined the band, they started to lose their Country edge and treaded the West Coast AOR sounds of Toto, Ambrosia, Player, etc., then they split and he became a Country superstar, guitar legend and HOFer instead of a popstar. Still, cool & great song, nonetheless.
