It's obvious that this video was made by some Western media. One keeps hearing about modernization, dictatorship, backward country, etc.
During his reign, Iran was constantly beoming a much modern, richer, and developed country not only within the region. Meantime, all this was making the West worried that Iran would be moving towards surpassing them with its great natural resources and could eventually end up as another USSR. As a result, they thought something sounded like a plan; Shah out.

Well, I'd say this part is just meant to be unclear. We'll never know through where Khomeini came from and eventually prevailed over Iran.
I personally imagine it was the CIA. They then knew Saddam would feel much more confident he could invade Iran; and that would mean more oil for the US and its allies.
As for Khomeini, he couldn't care less; he got what he wanted which was to rule.

khomeini knew enough to read quran as almost all Iranian know because alphabet is common between farsi and Arabic and even a lot of words are. So it dose not mean he knew arabic.
I aapreciate it if you could address any document to show khomeini is talking in arabic.
About farsi language which is my mother language I am 100% sure that he could not speak properly and you can ask the other persians to confirm it.
He had never been in any university as he did not have any academical degree.

Thank you for this brief review of historical events during the Pahlavi period. The central issue is whether or not Iran and Iranians are better off today. It all depends on who is your audience. Of course, religious leaders are better off, today. Also, those of us who have fled to another country and have made it home are definitely better off, too. Now, the rest of Iranians? Who knows?

This is bullshit. The reason that Hoveyda, (and the like), were arrested was that they belong to some secret society. Hoveyda was a freemason and controlled by the French illuminati. There were others too. Shah was trying to clean the system from such spice.
