@kitrick42 If i done a mans job for 15 yrs in a factory and alot of overtime, somedays 60 hrs per week with 5 hrs of sleep a night, they can do it without meth, I did and I worked till I was 43, I'd still be working if i had not of got fired for missing work with 3 inches of ice on the roads and trees down so bad i could not get out of my driveway. I have to say to you , if some of them are it is there business, but i hope they are not. That many hrs. is a very long time, but they are real men.

@tikitiki2011 60 hours a week with 5 hours sleep a night is totally reasonable. Not ideal, but reasonable. But doing that job for 30 straight hours with no sleep??? Not to mention theres many references to those guys doing piles of cocaine when the seasons over and its party time.

@thfc5afc1 me too, makes me very sad to have seen that. I dont know what i'd do without my dad. I know what its like to lose a child but a father no i dont. Poor Jake, his dad is missing, I know that's gotta be tough. I couldnt even imagine it. To Jake if u read these, I hope they have found him by now. Does anybody know if he has been found or not?? This was sad to see this. and also Phil's death, omg I know he is looking down on his boys (men) sorry guys, I could not imagine the hurt u have !!

I might be out on a limb here, but I think DEADLIEST CATCH needs an annual season ending award ceremony....voted on by fans ofcourse. Best Boat?, Best Captain?, Best Deck Boss?, Best Engineer?, Best Cook?, Best Green-Horn?, Worst Green-Horn...Josh....lol. Just a thought. It can go other ways as well...Craziest Deckhand?....Freddie on the Cornelia, Funniest Deckhand?...Mike on the Time Bandit, etc. Once the fuckers at DISCOVERY get word of this concept it will be on like Donkey Kong.

Does anybody know if they have found Jake's dad who came up missing? This is so sad. I pray to God that they find him alive and well. I'm kinda at a loss for words over this and dont really know what to say, I just hope they find him soon if they havent already. Jake, Jake H. , Josh H. YOU are all in my prayers, always, I hope you men have a safe season this year.
