  • @Shweppes100 I know what you are saying. \(^0^)/

Paul is very serious dedicated teacher. However, I think he is fun loving guy. I saw picture of him riding a strange 7 person bicycle. Also he is a good cook. I think.

  • Thank you very much; you are giving the new students a simple method to continue

  • congratulations!yours are the most useful english lessons i've ever heard

  • Thank you, Paul

learning english is easy with you.

Your videos are very good and help me.

  • I´m learning!!!!

  • I never heard a noun EVER being emotions or activities. An activity would would be a verb. And a emotion would be a adjective.

  • Words like "love," "fear," "hate," etc. are nouns:

Love makes the world go around. -- In this sentence, "love" is the subject and it's a noun. Abstract ideas are represented by nouns.

  • @learnamericanenglish I never heard emotion as noun because it is interjection

  • @learnamericanenglish you use "you" in both pronoun singular and plural, I think plural pronoun of you is your. Am i right or wrong plzz replay me.

  • I believe that envious is an adjective but envy would be a noun. Gerunds such and infinitives which are verbals are also used as nouns.

  • Abstract nouns, processes, occasions and time, they also refer to emotions and qualities, such as charity and happiness :)

  • Emotions and activities can be nouns such as anger(n.), eating(n.), happiness (n.), etc. I think he's a wonderful teacher.

  • @mikeyidh -- I should add to this that gerunds act as nouns in a sentence. Gerunds look like verbs but function as nouns (subjects) in a sentence. "Smoking is bad for you." In that sentence, the word "smoking" describes an activity and "smoking" is the subject in the sentence. Gerunds are always singular. I urge you to start thinking differently about what a noun is.

  • You are about the best I've come across online, God bless you.

    1. Could you pls shed light on how far in the simple past can the verb'was' and 'wanted' be used.

2.Use of have, has and there negative forms.

3.What could 'it' in the third person be compared to.

    Thanking you

    Ola
