The interviewer doesn't know how to interview more than one person at a time. The reason Hitchens is talking over him is because he isn't giving him any time to make his point. I don't care if you don't agree with one side of the argument, it's not your job to state your opinion. It's your job to be a moderator and let the two sides state their opinion and let people decide who has the better argument.

The things Christopher felt obliged to say are spot on. He let nothing up. "Not one word" of Christianity in our constitution. If he felt that there was intellectual shoplifting or corner-cutting in statements made by his contemporaries, he'd heed the inner alarm and make his voice immediately heard. The skill and precision in which he did so is astonishing. What a base of experience, intelligence, and wit from which to draw! This is why Hitchens is an inspiration for me.

You are always free to change the way you celebrate Christmas if it's too difficult financially. There is no law demanding that you celebrate a certain way.

Religion was invented to explain the unknown and seeing that eintstein's focus was not on the origin of life and a lot of his science was self taught he explained what he did not know to be the work of god. He couldn't understand the concept of something from nothing because his science was not that advanced yet but his math suggested otherwise.
