  • Funny stuff. But no good for a daily commuter like me. lol

  • this ad is fantastic..

  • as my late brother alwas told me. don't dress for the ride dress for the crash. It will happen but you never know when

  • When I was involved in "Bike Safe" , me and my colleagues noticed that the majority who came forward for assessment rides and training support were the ones who were quite good riders already and actually didn't need much. The ones that DID need saving never came forward. Perhaps their egos didn't let them? Either way, everyone benefits from regular training.

  • Great video to get a point across. nice.

  • what a good advert! gonna make me think twice about hammering it down the country roads quite as hard when I get on the road!

  • The only place to race,is on a track

  • This should be shown on TV. Not your usual anti-biker bullshit.

  • why have i never seen this on the tv ads? they should put it on

  • This is actually a good advert. I normally dislike road safety ads for being over patronizing or just plain unreasonable. Like showing a bike riding down a dead straight road while being 5km/hr over the limit and proclaiming that this person is now magically 3000 times more likely to turn into a hamburger. But this shows the true reality of the situation, its not the speed that hurts, its the coming off. That makes sense and just reminds us to 'take it easy' at times (and not be zombies).

  • peter brock is dead and he was on a racetrack

  • @keyanage He was on a public road. Closed for a tarmac rally.

  • @werf4 Here! Again! Someone didn't get the point! Help please!

  • @werf4 fuck shit, all dickless retards are like you

  • Awesome Advert, shame more people don't listen before it's too late. Just ask the police, who see the remains of people who crash what they think. Wire Fence Dividers at 200km/h equals Mince Meat people. Unless you want to go from Human, to Statistic, I suggest you learn to enjoy riding for the Freedom and Enjoyment it can give you, instead of focusing on the thrill of speed alone. That thrill soon wears off after you bury too many friends from dumb decisions they made. Ride 4 Life, Not Death.

  • Commercials like these never work. Studies have shown people are not swayed by fear.

  • @R1Rider2009

I agree, the people who road race and drive very aggressively are the least influanced by such material. And also it seems from appearance the least concerned about gear.

  • @R1Rider2009 I would continue your studies since fear has been shown to be the underlying motivator in our decisions...trying to impress people to get their approval only shows a lack of self-esteem and can be viewed as having the fear of not missing out, etc.

  • @motogpslider

You may have misunderstood what I meant when I said people are not swayed by fear, I was referring specifically about commercials like these. I was not talking about fear influencing our daily lives. Study after study has been completed that shows when fear and scare tactics are used in marketing and advertisements, people are not less likely to perform that action. In situations such as these, I tend to base my opinions off scientifically tested applications.

  • @R1Rider2009 Its not fear its fact. Its awareness. But yeah your right the common person is too stupid to get the message.

  • This is an excellent advert. Should be played to all beginner riders when they take their tests.

  • nice

    +5

    and 5 star rating

  • Totally endorsed !!

  • Great message, gets point across without being patronising.

  • @sakal88 failed your test?

  • @thundertt

no, I never had a fall on a motorcycle (but I rode only the small ones)

  • No idea what the hell this was when I watched it... Kinda neat though.

  • Nice vid. Must of hurt the riders.

  • good message

  • since when did they start putting bus stops on race tracks.......

  • They don't. The purpose of the commercial is to remind people not to street race because obstacles such as telephone poles, buses, etc exist, making it more dangerous for the motorcycle driver if he crashes and slides.

  • Too bad the nearest track is 200 miles away

  • @666nich666 And costs over $150 each time I want to ride.

  • Very good vid, I used to be one of those cock heads tearing around on the road, but after 5 broken vertebrae, I now race on the track.

  • LoL. I felt sorry for you for about a moment though tbh.

  • wont let me watch it :(

  • wow nice vid. Puts a good point. And to all those squids that wear no gear and ride like morons, and endanger other motorists (your time will come)

  • Very true, just kind of funny coming from someone with the screen name ON1wheel01

  • Yea thats the sn alright. I use to stunt ride on closed sanctioned areas not these high way guys. So yea

  • I appreciate this ad. It treats riders as adults and doesn't pander to the lowest common denominator.

  • very good awareness ad. drive safe...

  • Exactly, don't buy it if you don't intend to 'race' it exclusively on track.

  • Cause I bought mine for the track?????

  • great ad!

  • Well made commercial

  • With commercials like this, you can really achieve what you want. :]

  • nice :p
